I understand, but if you lag and click on one, especially after a wild spawn... you catch my drift there, do you?
gladly it never happened to me, even if my lowest chars (three of them) are at lv 25 now.

Sorry, some stuff in PWI will just kill you easily if you don't watch out. If you accidentally or purposely aggro these mobs, the consequences are yours and yours alone. QQing about it is pretty much fail. What, should there be a baby-safe mode of PWI as well?

I was just seeking the input of those who would play as lower 2x alts and living the effects of the event, or those who would at least give a thought to those newbies.

Did I say 'remove' anywhere, I don't think so. So your argument does not fit here.

That said, I have not seen Sword Tamer lately. Is he on vacation, replaced by those lame marriage quest bosses?

The game should have a pop up warning for that... It was even addressed once in the suggestions part and I fully approve of the idea that newbs should stay away from high level mobs, or at least get the 'trespass and die' sign.

No and no. But would it not be fairer to make it in a place very away from newbs? Or to be a prick, make newb mobs disappear and put the nienbeats around, and vice-versa?

Yes, ghouls do aggro, nienbeasts do not, and you should turn settings to a minimum to navigate easily during the event, no matter the level.
But once again, all mobs are near each other, which is what I meant.
I never said 'remove the event' or 'hey high levels, don't do it, think of newbs'. I am not an idiot, you know.

Eh... That is a good point. I still remember of such a detail when I played as my main chars. This is fuzzy, I don't remember until which level you do not lose experience upon dying.
Death is still annoying, especially when it's not one in your control, is it? I hate dying, even if at 0.0%. Losing all HP/MP (and the time wasted to regenerate after), possible loot left behind, lost chi bar...
But still, great point. I had forgotten about it.

Interesting, I have never thought of that. As all of my chars reached Lagosaurus (the lowest leveled have reached lv 25) and that I did not go to the starting cities during the event, I had not thought of it.

Yes, this should be the exact decision to take in all circumstances (unless you have a death wish or need a pure rush of adrenaline). I still quested normally around them because my sense of tactics (short and medium-term) is heightened... I play the game for tactics, not to cap or have the best gear, you know.
But newbies could overlook the danger in front of them and die in a stupid way... And this is the reason for this very thread.
