Help choosing a class...

I've played a veno til it was level 75 and thought that it was an awesome PvE character, but I'm a horrible PvPer with a veno...I made alt after alt in an attempt to find a class that would be decent PvE but I won't have a terrible time of losing battles against players. I have a 31 LA wizard..but I hate the slow cast time that it takes to kill monsters. I also have a 24 barb...I love the hp and I hear they are great endgame, but I don't really like the time it takes to fufill quests (with low accuracy it can be a huge wait)

I thought of being an archer. They spike damage like crazy and they have damage reduction, but how in the world can they be so bad endgame? (regarding the rumor of archers = fail endgame..)

Would I just be wasting more time building an archer? Or should I just stick to dragging myself dungeon to dungeon with my herc veno?b:surrender

P.S. I have all together shoved the question of being helpful in parties...Being asked 24/7 by everyone and their dog to solo their dungeon is infuriating, to say the least. Also I plan on going all the way with this character so please give any and all advice!

    I think you should make an archer they are really good. Major damage no matter what.

    lol archers aren't fail at end game if you play the class right, they are hard until around lvl 70 if you play pure dex archer because archers rely on their crits for damage and it's kinda low before lvl 70 mine personally has a 16% crit rate without any crit % increasing armor/wep and does around 3-4k damage each shot(seems low damage but i attack quickly) plus the fact they can keep out of AoE range on most bosses etc (with lvl 10 winged blessing of course) depending on who your facing you can be devastating in pvp since they get both physical attacks and some magic metal based attacks(work at close range too) and the stun/immobilize attacks, only issues are you can easily pull aggro in bh's etc but that can be solved by taking a tiny break between an interval of attacks,the low defense and hp is a concern but that can be solved by high grade hp shards and good armor and since you said your a herc veno i dont think you'll have too much difficulty with getting money for those b:victory if you have anymore questions just message me personally via forumsb:chuckle
