    Looking at this video made me see for the first time how naive we where (spectral) and how one sided the spectral-cq battle was. A bunch of charmed lvl100s who had months of massive income (low gold value too) to well gear themselves against few 100s and mainly 90+ or even 90- . Made me even more proud in being in spec and happy that due to game changes (exp and CS wise) we now got the lvls and the gear to head on cq1&cq2.

    Bring it on, Lets keep the fun going and in few months were gonna have people saying THESE are the days.

    guess my assumption of "great " gear is different from yours lol

    and yes rose it goes for all guilds but not all of us lie to ourself and say "we now got the lvls and the gear "

    No ones gear is ever complete....I would improve upon many's gears including my own....There are those though that NEED to HH but those need squads to run them, as they cannot solo them. One of the downfalls of many factions.

    Also, you and I both know that there are those with **** gear that are amazing and those with "amazing" gear that, well...suck...b:chuckle

    Everyone would spend irl money if they had it to buy gear. No one wants to farm hours upon hours in a virtual world if they don't have too.

    I can count the times I've been in HH and frost with one hand.

    Or log on a max of 5 hours a week and make 5mil a day. Not everyone would spend irl money if they had it, some people do actually have some priorities believe it or not.

    Clearly I meant extra income after whatever you needed money for was paid, idk what normal people have... bills and insurance and cellphones I guess?

    The people who spend and have such excess after their bills are paid and whatnot, why does it matter if they spend it here?

    Most people's toons are a work in progress, otherwise what is the point in playing.
    There are always better gears you want and how you get them is no one's business.

    Only children cry about the cash shoppers, the adults just shrug LOL

    I cash shop whenever I can and I don't really care if it makes me some sort of Fail.
    I will not be deprived of my fashion, dammit!!!

    I guess that's personal opinion, I put 25% of my income into savings and have 8 months worth of expenses saved up in case of unemployment but you don't see me throwing money at the game. I just see the game as a game, sure it's easier to pay your way to the top but then when the games dead and gone you'll wonder why you spent hundreds of dollars on a game to be better than someone who you'll never meet. I can say the same for the players who slave 8 hours a day on this game trying to make enough money to stay competitive with the cash shoppers. At least they played the game as a game I guess.

    I view my toons as my hobby, almost all hobbies require some money to be spent. I will not cs at the detriment of my real life responsibilities, tho. I pretty much spend the same on this game as I have in the past on going out and partying LOL

    This is precisely why I've spent "Thousands" on this game, so I don't have to be on 5,6.7.8 hours a day to try to make money and can still keep my rl routine. Throwing $$$ to stay ahead of the curve is just the easiest way to play, I'm too lazy/busy irl to dedicate anything more to a video game.


    I understand people who have jobs save their money instead of throwing it @ video games. That's perfectly fine. I'm sure if I had a job and tons of financial responsibility then I probably wouldn't spend anything here either.. but I have none of those.. so I do.

    I agree with mister DT. I have a life which includes a job, friends and family. I can't afford to spend hours and hours on pw farming for the gears I'd rather cash shop for.

    Or you could look at farming as party of the 'hobby'. Run a nirvana here, run a 3-3 there... eventually you'll have what you want unless you're extremely impatient or have money to burn.

    I don't see it much different than collecting something. Doesn't matter what really, guiars, guns, coins, stamps, voodoo dolls, ouija boards, whatever... you don't just go and buy a whole collection at once and call it done. You get a piece here, you get a piece there and some time down the road you'll have amassed quite a bit.

    Why would I stop playing a game I still enjoy playing? I have more than enough money to afford to cash shop, and can't stand farming hh for mats; it's much too tedious and time consuming. Because I cash shop, I get to pvp as much as I want, pretty much the only thing I find to be fun about this game.

    Basically this, I quit for a while because I could just not possibly make enough money for how much time I already wasted to keep up with cash shoppers. The only reason I came back was because I found a way that let me play 1-2 hours a day casually yet make enough as if I was playing 8-10. Once the way I make money becomes exhumed I'll be pretty much running on fumes till I quit. Either way, if a game forces me to cash shop or play beyond what's deemed healthy I'll simply move on, it isn't worth the time.
