PWI on Crossover

Hey Everyone! First let me just say I hope to soon see you all in game! I tried PWI about a year ago, but only for a day. Now I'm looking at returning full time to the game to play with my best friend. ^^

ANYWAY! On to my question.

I'm a mac user, so I'm installing the game using Crossover Games. Installation went perfect. No weird errors like others report or anything. Everything went smooth as silk.
However, Now I'm updating the game, and the Client is moving uber slow. It's taken it over 12 hours so far, and it's still updating. The progress bar is moving, so no, it isn't frozen, it's just updating very very slowly. Crossover said the update could take longer than normal....but I don't think it should be THIS long... it's not my net, I have very fast cable broadband, so Idk what it is.

I was wondering if anyone else using Crossover (or not) has experienced such long update times.

    On this page http://pwi.perfectworld.com/download you can download them then install manual. Scroll down to patch updates and download the one that your client is trying to download.

    I'm no computer noob, so idk how I didn't see that. lol Probably because I didn't download it from the site. Crossover can get it for you all from right in the program. b:chuckle
