    Potions, or whatever Perfect World uses as the "fooled you" reward.

    You are not seriously expecting that anything useful has an even remotely acceptable chance of appearing?

    If there is really no chance of anything good coming out of it, it will fail miserably. PWI management wouldn't want that, would it?

    My concern is that what are the chances that you'll recover at least 2/3 of money you spend. With tokens selling for about 15k, the real cost of a pack would become around 75k instead of 100k. If the "fooled you" items are sell-able and there is a good chance they could recover close to 50k I would buy few packs. Even though I've less than a million right now.

    You will still lose money, unless you get incredibly lucky. Packs are worth 1 gold, which for example can be said to be 500k. When players sell packs, they usually sell at a slightly lower price.

    The likelihood of getting something that's truly worth it is incredibly rare. For the recent Year of the Tiger packs, the probability of getting Tokens of luck was 97%. In about 100 packs, 97 of them would give you 15 tokens each. Sold at 15k each token, that's 225k. Buying the packs may cost as much as 480k per pack, thus you still lose a fair sum. To put the rarity of receiving things from packs, those recent Year of the Tiger packs gave Lunar Glade - Insignia Weapon 0.02% of the time, Scroll of Tome 0.002% (Yes, 2 thousandth of a percent), and Blazing Tempests 0.05% of the time.

    So this event is basically a coin sink? Probably worth doing for senior players with lots to spare.

    If a pack is worth 1 gold, what is Jones selling in 100k/5 tokens?
