Spooky Spot

I have noticed there seems to be a corrupt spot on the map that disconnects my characters. This has happens several times on two different charctes of mine during WQ. When i auto fly from Tusk Town to Dreamweaver Port, just east of Tusk, that error message shows up nad DC. Cooridantes are around (490,343). It doesnt happen everytime but happen often enough in exact same spot to not be coincidence. I now go around that spot. Anyone else run into this spooky spot

    But in any case, maybe you should try verifying your client to make sure it's up to date. Nothing's wrong with anyone else's client, I'm sure (at least, not for me). If the problem persists, send in a ticket?

    I think I remember seeing another thread on this a long time ago. Weird....


    Personally, I dont run WQ anymore, but I think I have d/c from Tusk to DWP before.

    yea, theres another one by swiftwind as well. you run into it when autopathing from 1k/north barrier to arch (or the other way around)

    im sure there are a few more out there

    I know the one the op is talking about, I normally do nothing to avoid it as it doesn't bother me too much. but yeah, it hasn't happend to me in awhile so I don't know.

    Yeah, there are a few spots like that. There used to be one at Tusk just north of Vol 19. I haven't crashed there in a while, but it used to happen pretty regularly.
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

    i think there are puddles of superglue around the swordmaker's cabin on Flag Hill...twice i've had characters get stuck there, and unable to log in on them with out nearly instant DC. the only way to get away was to jump forward before the DC, and keep doing it till it stops DCing you. but its odd that that glitch still exists there.

    when i did WQ i couldnt fly from Vol 30 to arch or 18 to 19 due to crashes, the first time it happened it would crash everytime i relogged until i had a gm move me. I found another one over near nameless isle as well

    I strated paying closer attention to right where i DC and i have pinpointed the spot to around these coordinates. (772,341) height around 34 to 36. Also it only seems to happen when i autofly with another browser window up at the time. I usually always auto fly will web surfing on other sites, so that might just be a coincidence.

    Not a big deal but im just curious if happens to other in exact same spot

    I've heard of this happening, and I'm glad to hear that it's happening less than it used to.

    However, if you do find yourself unable to log in after crashing in the bermuda triangle, please run the PWI launcher, go into your settings, and set all graphical options to the absolute minumum. You should then be able to log in and and change your graphics settings back to what they were before.

    Not happening to me.

    Weirdest one I had when I first started playing that Hidden Orchid area was glitched for me. Was always falling through the floor there. Updated my graphics and it fixed itself. So was my comp not anything else. b:laugh

    This happens to me too. Also I get DC near Swiftwind every time I get back to Archo from Vol. 30. b:sad The spot near Tusk town doesn't always DC me.

    my client also crashes around the tusk town area when flying on wq the odd thing is if im flying the client continues to crash until i am on the ground and able to move away from this area I spent almost an hour one day trying to get away from this area since i was flying at max height and it took for ever for me to get to the ground with repeated client crashes b:angry so now i dont fly in that area atleast not at max height good thing i only do wq when im within 5% of lvling otherwise this crashing client would be a big pain b:chuckle
