Here are the results after 200 relaxing summer packs opened:

-2x headless horseman belt
-3x ornament packs
-6 of each saphire, garnet and citrine common shards
-7 common amber shards
-450 boxes of candy
-Around 187 pills (had to sell them to clear space in inventory)
-All the rest: mouthwatering treat (too many to count)

So there you go, economy is down and PWI puts yet another good old money sink on the game, i'm assuming any reward different than those has less than 0.5% chance to pop up

    No duh! JJ events since the packs has been coin sinks. It's meant to take coins out of the game to control inflation. Even if you didn't know that before, couldn't you tell from the list of **** things that are in the packs?

    Any "anti-inflation" attempt by PWE rings hollow as long as Tokens of Best Luck are still obtainable. >_>

    Them being, y'know, the real cause of the inflation, and all. -_-

    Yes, I'm still a stubborn holdout in favor of the old game. Haters gonna hate. ;]

    its not a coinsink if you consider you can get them CHEAPER for 5token of luck which are sold ~13k...

    -> makes token more expensive(till 20k)
    -> makes every item obtainable by token for less than regular more expensive...
    ->tokensink
    ->more ppl buy packs
    ->$$$

    You're right that it's not a coin sink, but is a token sink, however prices haven't increased. Tokens are still selling for 11-12k ea. Prices haven't changed.

    Its not a coin sink if you make more money selling the prizes than buying the packs. Its in fact a coin flood, as has pretty much every PWI sale ever been.

    It is coin flood only if you NPC the things you get with tokens.

    It's a token sink with the long-term goal of raising token prices, to make buying the cash shop packs more attractive. People who buy packs and lose the lotto and get tokens can then sell them for more coin, which they use to buy more packs.

    Nobody buys boxes of candies except those with the intention of making a slim profit by NPC'ing the items. Nobody uses coin to buy JJ packs except those being silly. Ergo, no coin is being drained.

    Of course it is, though it's a bit more complicated. It's trying to set an in-game price for tokens at 20k ea. The closer that PWI can make *whichever token pack* contain items closer to the normal value of gold the more they'll sell. Of course, they would rather you not buy more packs with in game coin, but they're willing to deal with that because a lot of people end up buying coin with $$$ so they can get the rare items as well as having people buying more as there is less perceived loss. But yeah, you pretty much summed it up.

    Hypothesis:
    Upon new pack/event introduction, % to get goodies is higher to entice others to buy in. After the hype opens the floodgates, goodie % is drastically reduced to keep people trying longer. It's an old casino trick, put the higher odds slot machines by the high traffic areas to get people to think it could happen to them too.

    I'm sure the devs aren't that devious, but I do notice a severe drop in decent JJ packs than other packs. $50 got me 3 headless horseman ornaments, 1 weapon pack, 2 ornament packs, and a whole bunch of stuff to give away in noob cities. b:sad
