how do you make vids?!?!?!?

ok, i want to make perfect world vids for youtube but i dont want to pay $37 for fraps. you guys got any suggestons?

    thank you very much!!! just one thing. i use hypercam now and after i record, when im watching the vid u just made, it plays it really fast like it's fastforwarding everything. do you know how to fix that?

    Try these settings with CamStudio (http://camstudio.org/) instead:

    Before you do this, you need to install the codec package from k-lite: http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

    Download Mega codec pack, and when installing, choose everything without player. (and make sure to read carefully on what you choose during installation (some versions of some codecs are marked with "NOT RECOMMENDED")

    plz help me! i watched ur vid and downloaded that thing which by the way came with a bunch of **** that made me mad. but after i make a PWI vid it wont go into windows movie maker because it says the codec required to play this file is not insalled on this computer! i just freaken installed that thing that gave me a bunch of junk! what do i do?

    is there any other free easier programs to use cuz hypercam always speeds up my videos when i play them. do you think you know how to fix that?

    fixing my hypercam problem or my camstudio problem would make me very happy :)

    That's because Camstudio settings for me is 200 FPS. I never use any video editing, because I make sure to do it right the first time when I record.

    Max any windows video editor can do is 30 FPS, sorry. But 30 FPS causes game to go at like, 10 or 5 FPS >.>

    i got it to work and when i make it, it looks great. but when put on youtube it looks terrible! what do i do? what dimensions do you use?

    I use the following dimensions:

    Width = 854
    Height = 480

    Fixed Region...

    Using Enable Autopan.

    I don't endorse doing this. But thepiratebay.c0m has fraps for free... *hint* *hint*

    I am not recommending you do this but if you want to try it out. Fraps is the best video capture program out there. I got Fraps for free. And Sony Vegas 8 Pro to edit my Fraps videos :)
