Could someone list a few good ways of making money? I'm at a swift end on grinding. The highly awfully drop rates are not even enough to pay for my tele costs so I'm moving away from grinding.

    In before the "Merchanting" ...

And yeah. I'd also like to know what the people who claim 250k are grinding, because I don't get half that.

but i managed to make a few mill in a week or 2 by just farming any herbs in good spots, setting a store char and coming back to it later to discover monez b:victory

then theres always the *insert your credit card here* approach.

There are plenty of ways. I'll list the most common ones:

    1) Merchanting. Best source but you gotta learn the market first.
    2) TT, Lunar and Nirvana. Farm those and get rich. Good faction helps a lot.
    3) Gather mats/herbs. Mats are somewhat worthless, but farm hell/heaven herbs and sell in AH.
    4) Grind. Poison mobs ftw.

Number one is not too easy and you already said you hate number four so I suggest either three or two. Farming high level TTs is not easy, but try to get a faction that runs TTs on a daily basis.

True, you won't get much help for those runs. However, if you find other people who need money too, I don't see any problem why you couldn't get a squad. A few levels back I tried to make a 1-3 money run. I didn't get it fully organized, but I did find some people who would have wanted to join. Imo getting help from high levels is never needed.

I think it would be better to do a money run if you do it with friends/faction mates. Someone gets all the mats, sells those, splits the money and sends it to other squad members. Very bad idea with randoms, but makes it easier to get a squad from a faction.

Get 7X/8X armor with only wood defense as an attribute. For adds, look for + health, + vit, and + wood defense, at least 2+ total per piece. Then 4 socket them with socket stones if needed, and refine to +3 each off of mirage. Buy a set of wings that are 2.5 or greater normal speed, then go AoE grind 16+ mobs at once (16 for current lvl, since chipmunqs aren't as plentiful, aim for 30+ once you get higher and grind the poison spiders)

For cost, manufacture one of the regen pots (50 mana/100 mana/100 mana & hp) to effectively counter the cost. 50 mins for each one made, and it is pretty cheap to make. Combine withh only having a couple K repair bill after an hour, and your rate of return is obscenely high.
Fist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. Go here if you want to debate about it. - Lyndura

Get a High lvl Fist warrior use it, Restat to axes. GG - complexx

    Seriously??

That sounds correct based on my experience. Just do a One-man army quest, complete it, and by the time you're done you should have about 50-100k in drops. Personally I can probably get in exactly two and a half OMA runs in an hour.

    Seriously.

    My OMA are:
    Elite Infernal something something
    Tigaero something something
    Craggrock Boulderam
    Demonic Rogueknight
    Firefox

Of those I tend not to do boulders, because they're in an irritating group near the phoenix's, overcrowded - and ranged.

The rest though - two OMA in an hour sounds about right if I'm taking is easily and mining the mat spawns too, two and a half if I really push it - that sounds about right. (The firefox's are easier to kill but spread out, whereas the rogueknights take several casts and irritatingly lose aggro a lot)

Drops from doing that - 30k, 40k in DQ drops, tops (and some coin, but that pays for repairs and the teleport at best) and maybe one piece of armour which if you're really LUCKY is worth a fortune (lvl88 channel ring? YUMMY!) but is more likely NPC fodder.

Which brings me to... 90k-110k an hour, tops.

I'm just not seeing the 125-150k that's been claimed.

Timing myself, I get anything between 40k and 120k+ in 30 minutes grinding on Glacial Maidens. The time I get from the Stamp of Thunder blessing. Most commonly, I'd be at around 85k-100k per 30 minutes, which would put me at 190k-200k an hour. Would be higher if I took the nearby herbs and mats. Or if I had more -interval, right now I only got -0.1 with a crossbow.
If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.

Lacking purify, those spiders are a real pain. The ants, and giants, however, I have ground on. The value of drops didn't seem to be much improved, to be honest, over my OMA (and from that I get rep)

I forgot to say that i have really nice weap (+9 lunar bow) so its basicly only normal attacks till mob dies and if they gank me i have that genie spell for wood dmg immunity.
Tbh i was making nowhere near that kind of money in my 80s, where i used to get 120k at max per hour.

Talking about spiders near avalanche, my veno used to make 300-400k per hour grinding on those. That was way before the dq drop nerf. Very minimal repairs since poison damage doesn't deduct any duration off your armor pieces so you only gotta repair the weapon if you're a magic class.

Since she's a cleric aoe-grinding on poison mobs is really easy. like Cadevils near 1k I guess. Never tried the spiders up north.

And yeah. I'd also like to know what the people who claim 250k are grinding, because I don't get half that.

My super secret method. Go into FB19 Human, lure all of the mobs in the dungeon to one spot, double spark, Inner Harmony, Subsea Strike, Earthen Rift, pick up lots of drops. It takes about 7 minutes to get all of the mobs (I use Alpha Male every so often to keep mobs following me) into one spot, and it is roughly 20k worth of drops. Definitely not 250k/hour, but it minimizes costs to maximize profits.

Another method; get a Psychic to level 5x, go to Dawn's Cry and just grind mobs there. With full Mag build, you can kill them easily in 3-4 hits, long before they can poison you, and keeping Focus Powders minimizes MP loss. When you are same level as the mobs, just start dumping all of your exp into genies. Eventually when you have all your skills maxed to what they can be, you can start dumping all the spirit into genies as well.

Didn't get the rest of it, but apparently I am the "destroyer of sin haters" as well.
