Gotta say, i never really looked into as i've been hunting very little and i dont see millions falling on my lap anytime soon. However, i always build my char towards a goal. So i went to checkout the so talked about nirvana tt99 upgraded pants pants. Then i looked at the lunar upgraded pants. Then the rest of the set. They're pretty much the same, except lunar has higher def/mdef. Is this right? Would upgrading a lunar set be better than a gold tt99?

    the lunar has higher base pdef/mdef the 99 has +%
    I was led to believe the +% works well against debuffs(like ironwood break/penetrate armor, seals, ect)

    TT Nirvana is better if u have highly refined ornaments.

    You need to have like +10 adorns for HH/Lunar to give better defenses than Lunar/Nirvana. And even than its only like 40 more mag/phy def.

    Lunar Nirvana pants gives more hp anyway and also looks better b:avoid

    Well, most of the gear on this game looks ****, so the visual isnt exactly a factor as we can cover up wtih clothes. What matters to me is simply combat usage. Anyways, i used the calc with a basic setup just to get an idea:

    On the TT case, do i simply add 20% def and mdef or woul it be like ((((((def + 4%) +4%)+4%)+4%)+4%)+4% = set def? 5670 or 5748? Either way, is a bit higher than the lunar one and the ornament refines arent exactly high (altough savants arent the cheapest shards to get ^^). Not sure wha you guys meantby +10 orhigher orns.

    If im looking at this corectly, TT nirvana set > lunar.

    *Edit* Nvm. just realized helm and cape don have 4% adds ^^
