A few questions.

1st, I've tried the search function and browsing around for a while now and I haven't found the answers to my question so I'm posting a new thread. Sorry if there is already a thread that clearly has the answer, I wasn't able to find it.

I recently purchased a cash shop flying mount and was wondering if there's a chance of it dropping should I die in PvP or PvE?. It would suck to spend all that money on a cash shop flying mount only to have it drop later on. Also, is there a chance my aerogear will shatter if I have the lock on?

If i use the Binding Charm on an item, can i still put it into my safe and let my other characters in my account use it (after I buy the Account Stash Stone)? Can bound items still be refined?

Lastly, is there a chance for fashion items dropping or breaking from death?

    PvP, unless bound, yes, it can drop.
    PvE, I don't think anything can drop unless you're in PK.
    And I doubt aerogear will shatter.

    Yes.
    Refined, I don't know.

    In PK, it can drop. It cannot break.

    There is a chance for it to drop if you have killed a white name and have red hours and are killed. If you turn pink from attacking a red name, or fight back after being attacked, no it will not drop if it is equipped. If you turn pink from combat, you may drop inventory items. You will not drop anything if you have Saftey Lock enabled.

    If you are red and have saftey lock on, there is a chance it, or any other gear, can shatter.

    Items bound with a Binding Charm can be transferred through the Account Stash. You may still refine, purify, add sockets and shard bound gear. You cannot decompose it.

    Fashion cannot shatter, however you can drop it just as you can equipped items if you have red hours, or if it's in your inventory if you turn pink.

    Actually, the PW website itself lists a 1% chance of something from the inventory dropping when a blue name is killed by a monster. I only actually consider an item to be "in my possession" when I've transferred it to the stash or a mule.

    Still, flying mounts are equipped, so it won't drop. PK is different matter, of course. Especially when you are red.

    1) You can drop your items both in PvE and PvP. In PvE (white named) you can drop items from your inventory, not the ones you're equiping. You can also drop items from your inventory when you're white named and another player kills you.The chance for that to happen is somewhere around 1% though. If PKing as red named you can of course drop anything you're using. Safety lock however protects you from dropping items in PvE and PvP.

    2) Yes to both.

    3) It is possible to drop fashion while PKing, in PvE (whitenamed) you can drop only the fashion items which are placed in your inventory. EDIT: Seems that fashion items cannot shatter, my bad.

    wow thanks for the fast replies guys!!

    Ok, so let's see:

    PvP: White named or Blue named only items from my Inventory can drop(includes fashion items and aerogear. Basically anything in my inventory). With lock on, nothing will drop, but i have a small chance to shatter an item (equiped only? Inventory? both?). Pink to Red I can drop items from my inventory and equipped items (this includes fashion and aerogear).

    PvE: Items can only drop from my inventory. With lock on, nothing will drop but there is a small chance for an item to shatter.

    For the fashion, what if I have it in my fashion wardrobe inventory? Does that count as it being in the regular inventory and have a chance to drop?

    Pink = no red/Infamous hours. You get pink from attacking someone. If you are pink and die, you may lose inventory items, but not equipped items.

    Not sure about the wardrobe.

    PWE is notorious for not updating their website information. They still saying flying isnt allowed in TW as well. Yes a while ago there was a 1% chance to drop items in PvE. When they added the shatter system to the game, they changed a few of the drop rules, one of which being that a blue name can not drop items under any circumstances. To do this, they had to remove the PvE chance of dropping items. That should now read 0%. But they wont update it.

    Only what you carry and did not bound, not what you stored :P

    This is up to date as of the last information a GM gave in the forums:

    In short:
    If you are pure PVE then no, it can't drop or shatter.
    If you go PVP it can drop, unless you bind it (or abuse the safety lock) - and then it can shatter.
    Shattered aerogear means you can't fly.

    I still can't seem to find any official word as to, if the fashion inventory is treated the same as the regular inventory and items can drop. So far what I've heard sounds like speculation more than confirmation.
