"Upcoming" Area?

So, i was at 1k wood ridge, trying to level my blademaster. I have to do a quest where i have to get 3 frozen wolf fur. I tried running north from a jumby temptress, and i could not go any further. It says i was not in 1k ridge anymore, i was in "Upcoming". Does this mean that there is a new area beyond thousand wood ridge?b:laugh
