Hi guys,
why bramble dont work in pk???
does not seem right that this very useful and fundamental skill for Veno does not work
i want to know if it is something to fix or not

    It's not meant to work in PvP. It would be too powerful if it did.

    Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.

    They used to work in PvP.
    Melee people who killed themselves on it complained.
    PWE listened and nerfed it so it doesn't work in open PvP.
    PWE added -interval gear substantially increasing melee power in PvP.
    PWE added a Psychic skill which does the same thing as damage reflect, unnerfed (can't even be purified).
    In light of these changes, some people are now calling for Bramble to be unnerfed.

    So decide which of the above arguments have more merit and pick a side.

    aBM can have 4 attacks per second and venomacer can not have a Bramble to protect yourself!
    does not seem right

    Allow Venos to control 2 pets once they reach lvl 80.

    *drools over the thought.

    You already have bramble hoods damage reduction ~.~
    PWE added a Psychic skill which does the same thing as damage reflect, unnerfed (can't even be purified).
    Bramble is too powerful because its a 10 minute non-self buff. Its fine for psychics because they can only buff themselves.
    I'm sure the devs would be willing to let you have bramble back if you agreed never to buff anyone else but yourself.

    I was actually thinking NIX/Scorpion Combo. NIX/NIX of course but thats 400$. Scorpions atleast free.

    Okay fine. What excuse o you have for hood to remain nerfed when soulburn is far worse?

    i thought that was true lol.....i wish it was like that but then venos would be over powered

    No, they never worked here on PWI. There may have been a time on PW1 they did, but not on the F2P version.

    this made me laugh irl xD but anyways i thought it did work in pvp O.o i was fighting a cleric today n she got randomly hit by nothing

    If reflects work for some classes in pvp that have a reflect skill, than it should work every class that has a reflect skill, or it should work for none. the point is consistency.

    also bramble hood DOES work in PvP, just not the reflect part, 75% damage reduction is great for get away situations. But feel free to call me a noob when i use it, noob.
