    The optimal choice is to give the rare skills to the pets who do things legendary pets can't. Like putting Hercules buffs on a water pet, since the Hercules can't swim. Or putting Claw on a high attack pet like a Scorpion, because the Phoenix can't be used inside instances.

    The Kowlin is not a High attack pet, it has an average attack at best. Its defense is less than that of even a Scorpion. It may be fast, but speed is its only redeeming quality.

    u can get those scrols free..so a GW w herc buff taht u got free..will be a good free pet if u never gona get a herc!!!!!!! same w sawfly w claw.. its free and not all ppl on this game what spend real money or grind in 90-100 lvls to get a herc/nix!

    What i dont understand is that every thread this OP makes about pet advice gets turned into a biatching fest. Like, she completely disregards any advice given to her. Her attidtude is, "I'm right, you're wrong, so GTFO!"

    Regardless - you asked "So, what about a kowlin with claw, then?" and the community answered saying it is, at best, a sub-optimal idea and there are much better things that can be done with claw. (The scorpion for a kowlin-but-better, a turtle or plumpfish for a water pet of doom, the ranged pets for some interesting possibilities - or even a hercules for some very scary tanking.)

    No. Your idea is relatively dumb and you could do something much better.

    Crying about it doesn't change the answer. (Though personally I don't think it's as terrible as others make out - I LIKE my Kowlin around level 60-70. However, given that I've not used him since then... yeah, it's a short-term idea at best)

No. I'm just stating the truth, that you can't follow someone else's advice. It's always about what you want. You ask a question, someone answers it, with a reasonable answer, but then you turn around and flame them, on the same thing YOU asked about. No wonder no one likes you in game. Especially if you show this same attitude in game, as on the forums.

    my Kolwin is lvl 90 LOL..i never said anything about im cool LOL..my idea was to put claw on my kolwin..but i wanna know ..what effect it gona DO w i put claw in Kolwin!..will he bee good DD pets?? i wanna know more about that..

    only answer i get is: it sux and useless! do it say anything??? uh no its not the answer i what.

    well i know my englsih sux..but learn to type Norwegian then! if u can't understad ..its not so easy learn to write..try write norwegian..lets see if u are any better!

    if i learn my Kowlin claw! his atk maybe wil be around 3,2k his atk rate is 0,8 . how much dg will he do each sec?.xD how can i find it out..i wanna know more about THat!

    Kowlin doesn't suck, and it's not 'useless', but there are so many more pets that beat the kowlin on any and every point you'd might want to use it for. That's what people been telling you over and over, and no matter how many times you say "only answer i get is: it sux and useless! do it say anything??? uh no its not the answer i what.", THAT is the only, or one of the very few, answers to your question.

    Firstly, claw is a percentage based skill. A pt with low phys attack will not get the same boost from it as one with a higher phys attack. So, no, your kowlin won't magically get to 3.3k phys attack from claw.

    Second of all, your questions were already answered. Just because you don't like them doesn't make them any less true.

    Though, now that I think of it, I wonder why I even bothered responding when OP has proved to be either a complete imbecile or a complete troll with each and every single post they've made here...

    i did't ask u atm...w claw kolwin will do same dg as normal sawfly at 90..but its his atk rate and speed thats make meh think he si good!

    other pets like scope/WD have lower speed and scope have low atk rate! also its ugly.

    did i said 3,3k? i said 3,2k cuz claw give 1k more patk - 30% morepatk. i love kolwin as he is..and i don't like Gw and scope..cuz

    some of us, who have played this game since nearly the beginning, fell in love with the beauty and grace of the kowlin, and set as a goal owning one ourselves. to us, it matters not that it cant tank (though that itself is debatable...it is well able to tank the low level bosses, as i've done many times), but that it is the most beautiful pet available. we have other pets for different jobs, but our kowlins will always have more than enough work for us.

    Do you not know how a percentage works? Are you really that stupid or do you just refuse to actually read?

    Lemme put it in simple numbers for you:

    Level 90 Scorpion: 3336 (base phys attack) x 1.3 (boost from claw) = 4336 (aka a 1k gain from 30%)
    Level 90 Kowlin: 2218 (base phys attack) x 1.3 (boost from claw) = 2883 (aka not even a 700 point gain from the 30%)


    Now do you get it? Crappy phys attack + percentage based boost = Crappy phys attack! I know it's a difficult concept for anyone below the age of 12 to understand, but please try to keep up. As everyone else has said, it's a total waste if you're trying to get a pet with good DD capabilities. If you want to ignore us as usual and waste your time anyways, good for you but stop posting asking us for information/advice and then deciding to completely ignore us.

    When you're level 100 and stealing aggro on bosses from a barb that's level 102, you might check out their gear. Suppose you noticed they were using their FB19 reward weapon, and when asked they reply " it's just so beautiful". Imagine you're doing BH Metal and normally you have no problem tanking 5 mobs at a time with BB up. What if one time you start dying left and right only to notice the Cleric is using a Lv19 weapon because it's just so beautiful. Not many like rolling with these kinds of idiots. Do you think the Cleric likes paying for extra mana because you prefer beauty to fast killing? Do you think the Barb likes paying for more armor repairs because you want to look great? Do you think the other DDs like wasting time when they could be missing opportunities because of you?

    The argument would be that the Claw Scrolls are free, therefore it doesn't matter as she can just get more free.

    let her put claw on that **** pet. later when she will get over 90 (ever?) i would like to see her asking here... why my pet get 1 shot from most of the bosses and not even tanking b:laugh

    Armored Bear wasn't a bad debuff lurer but it becomes useless at a point where ranged Eden pets come into play, and your survivability goes up. Forglings are much sexeir then Kolwins btw.

    Aniella keeps posting about how these rare scrolls are free. Let me just say this: I got my Hercules completely free. I spent only coin, not a dime of real cash. I also plan on getting a Phoenix, as soon as I stop buying gear for myself. b:sweat

    level 90 Varicose Scorpion: 3336x1.3=4336@0.6=2601

    level 90 Kowlin: 2218x1.3=2883@0.8=2306

    It's pretty clear to me which pet has better DPS.

    as u said Kolwin are good for speed and lureing..but not woth put claw in cuz low pdef/magdef and low dg.

    if u look close..i used my pets in 30 lvls, i know they more then u can think of..i tried a DW!..i did't like it.
    i keep love Kolwin for that he is..i don't care about def..and hp..but speed,atk rate, and look + pdg.

    kolwin good good atk rate..i know scope do even more but his atk rate is low as sawflys..and for a tt DD pet need fast hits..and good dg..
    A sawfly lvl 90 do 3,2k kolwin will ahve same as thet 1 but even alot better atk rate!
