Okay, so I've downloaded PWI on my desktop, verified the files 2 times, ran all the patches, reinstalled and repeated. b:surrender If anyone could be of any help, I'd really appreciate it.

My dxdiag (system info.) is as follows:

Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600)
Processor : Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4CPU 2.00GHz
Memory : 512MB RAM

Name: 32MB ATI Rage 128 Ultra
Chip Type: RAGE128 PRO II, (AGP 4X/PCI)
Approx Total Memory: 32.0MB

Main Driver : ati2dvaa.dll
Version: 6.13.0010.5004 (English)
Date: 4/8/2002 10:05:52

Here is the window that pops up just after the client crashes:

Some further explanation:

Right after I press start, there will be a 5-15 second pause. The client will open for just a few seconds (screen still black as it has not loaded yet) and then it just crashes. The picture that I have linked you above is what I get right after the client crashes. Please send me any kind of help, and I wouldn't be suprised if my computer is just outdated. Thanks!

I get this every now and then myself. I have done some searching around and can't really find anything on it. I don't know what to do with it other than close the window when it pops up. PW usually crashes when it happens, which is really lame. I have another problem now when I try to start PW. I can't quite figure it out so I am trolling through the forums here to see if anyone else has experienced what I have. I tried to start PW cus it crashed, and ot loads up and everything, but when I go to press start there is a long pause and a prompt comes up in ALT characters, don't know what the heck it is. IDK. Let me know if you find anything out on report bugs, and if you know of someone who has experienced what I was talking about above.,

The crash could be caused by your video card. The Rage is a very ancient card by todays standards, it has 32mb of vram which would severely bottleneck almost ANY game you play, right?

I've had games crash before that had faultly/unsupported/old GPU's. After replacing them, the game would work fine.

I would suggest upgrading your video card something like a AGP Radeon HD3850. Which is the fastest/latest AGP card I currently know of.

I will inform you if i find any further info Lass, and you're probably correct about my card Alieron, because i've tried downloading atleast 8 different games and all of them have different issues when trying to launch b:chuckle Do you know the price ranges for a newer video card such as the one you reccomended?

AGP is severely unsupported nowadays however.
There once a time when I cared about getting to the top quickly as possible to help others. Now, I take it slow, and don't worry about having nothing to do. There's always something to do in an MMORPG, especially if you are high level. PK'ing is for those who desire to inflate their egos. True friendship comes from helping one-another, rather than to start rivalries.

It takes 315300 Mysterious Chips to make one warsoul weapon, if you have a 100% success rate.

AGP cards are hard to come by nowadays since no one hardy makes them anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if you could find a second hand HD4650 for like $60-80 which would enable you blue-ray and high def dvd's. Since the majority of new PC's either use onboard video cards or PCI-E cards.
