lvl 90 armors. vs.... lvl 85?

ok so i got my TT lvl 90 gold top armor after some mats. "General's vest"

and i also have my lvl 85 FCC "Decaying Snow" top armor

and i Noticed thats the lvl 85 armor has just a lil bit better stats. and way cheaper then what i spent on General's vest.

anyway. im guessing that the TT90 Gold armor is better because of bonus stats?

but i just want to ask experts just in case

    ohs, never use gold untill 99:)
    you should get tt90 green set..
    do your oht daily and try to get -0.05 on your wrists (i got it twice)..
    and rank 4 chest with -0.05..
    untill u get tt99 set...

    for pure dding use -interval stuff, for pvp use green tt90..

    simple as that if you dont have tons of money.. if you do.. u have some other options..

    EDIT:
    for archer is always better to put coin into wpn than armor until endgame..

    lol never use the tt 85 stuff, just stick with tt 90 gear and tt 90 gold bracers. When your 99, then get the tt 99 gold armor xD

    There is no "TT85", the level 85 armors are Frost gear.

    Also, personally, I would rather pick Bracers of Blood Moon over TT90 gold, because you can re-sell the Bracers at level 99 and you're more likely to get more life out of the Bracers, as you can easily make them 4 sockets, whereas doing that on TT90 golds is pretty damn expensive at 1,000-1,300 socket stones. For the record, that should be ~10,000,000-15,000,000 coin, which is enough to buy you the Bracers and be left over with at least 2,000,000, which is enough to add the 2 sockets to it.

    There are several options you can choose amongst. A large part of what you choose should depend on what you envision your level 99+ gear to be.

    - TT90 Green / Bracers of Blood Moon

    This is the standard and most recommended build. Good HP bonuses, and everything is resell-able. You can also decompose / resell the TT90 Green to help make your TT99 Gold.

    - TT90 Gold Wrist + Gold Leggings / TT90 Green Chest + TT90 Green Boots

    This takes advantage of the set bonus (+10 Dex) from having TT90 Gold items. So it does more damage than standard build, but has less HP. Furthermore, the Gold items are not resell-able.

    At level 99, some individuals keep the TT90 Gold items for the set bonus, and use only two TT99 LA Gold (chest and boots). While you do get a dex bonus compared to Full TT99 Gold, you are unable to use the event boots nor rank chest (otherwise you lose out on the TT99 Gold -Interval set bonus). If you don't want to do this at level 99+, I do not recommend this route.

    - FF85 Chest + Boots / TT 80 Gold Shins / Bracers of Blood Moon

    Compared to the standard build, this build has more dexterity from the inherent armor bonuses, as well as the fact that you save 5 less Strength that would normally go towards wearing the TT90 armor. So again, it does more damage than the standard build, but has less HP. Furthermore, the leggings are not resell-able.

    Nobody really goes this route, I think.

    does the Full set of TT90 gold gears "general's armor" give set bonus? or is that only for the TT99 gold full gears

    TT90 gold gives a set bonus for 2 and 4 pieces, but it's not the same bonus as TT99's. 2 pieces is +10 dex, 4 is +3% reduce physical damage.

    TT99 is -0.05 interval, +15 vit, and +3% crit for 2/4/6 pieces, respectively.

    Also, in case it is not clear, the set bonuses are cumulative.

    i use frost armor - and its a killer.. would never exchange 85 armor for 90 :)

    archer is not a tank, its a killing machine >:P ofc it all depend on gameplay and what you preffer more.. i hate dying in 3-5 hits sometimes :>
