Warning, this is mostly a rant

Soo i've noticed something as of late. We all experience jerks as clerics, who try to tell us how to do our jobs, or are just a hastle to keep from killing themselves but ive noticed something lately...they are almost always sinXD.

Now im not ragging on the class, as my hubbie is a sin lol, but this happens time and time again. I'll use an example from today:

We had 2 venos, a tank, myself a sin and a psy doing a bh 51 run. The venos each took a mob and started to tank/dd them(the tank had just ported in) then the tank ran up and took the aggro and i began to heal him as the rest dd. Now the sin decided to run past the two mobs we were working on and halfway down the hall, nowhere near the thing in charge of keeping everything alive(me) and began to attack two mobs of her own. Her hp soon reached 0 and she began to let loose a slew of colorful phrases and endless "noob cleric" remarks.

I rezzed her and tried to explane a.) i cant heal you if your way the hell out of my range, and b.) the wonderful fact that heal pulls and she is pretty much incapable of holding two aggro at once... she wouldnt shut up and seemed very offended when i asked the squishies not to try and tank, to let one of the two venos or the tank do that.

***** wouldn't shut her hole so eventually we kicked her and we all received a nice slew of pmsXD

Shes the worst sin ive ran into, but a lot of them seem to be under the impression that they are both better at tanking than the tank, and are of a higher heal priority XD

Anyone else experience this ?

all classes have people who THINK they know best and when asked to fit in with the squad, get all heated up and rant and rave. best idea is to let just keep an eye on the folks who are working for the squad and not against it, and let the ones who think they know best look after themselves. everyone has pots (if not why not?) and should not rely on the cleric who may be healing someone else anyway

Yeah, I've gotten people like that in my squad before. Clerics aren't exactly superheroes, but some people seem to think so. Just because there's a cleric in squad doesn't mean you should run off away from everyone else and expect to be healed. -.-

Usually when that happens I res them and say nothing.

icould rant about sins long =/ class that gives most pain in **** in squads, always

they re squishy and melee, force you to bb on every boss even if his aoe is short and normaly u and all other classes could just avoid it. You cant purify / dd or w/e then and most 100lvl bosses have interupt skill, which gives additional pain cuz u need to do magic tricks to be able to set up bb back.
and ofc they steal aggro constantly, so when bb drop and i have skills in cooldown it pretty often ends up with dead fish x.x

i read few mid-lvl ppl rants about sins and i can say that on 100lvl not much changes..

only sins that i tolerate are those well geared and with knowledge that f.e. spark isnt just stealing aggro tool but also skill u can use to not get oneshot.

but thats pretty rare :P

I'm the suicidal type in BH runs....but damn. If i'm gonna go grab my own two mobs, there is a reason i'll just put in squad chat "Come heal me, after you deal with them. I got a charm, plus sutra, and pots. So i'll be ok." and then proceed to kill the living hell outta the mob's as i wait to see how the others do.

I'm also known to pull the other mobs back with me, if i suddenly see the cleric deal for some unknown reason, just to help with DD XD

Bleh..

I had someone yelling at me "BB!", "BB!" for all 3 bosses in 51..... So after we came to Drake, he was insisting that I should BB (which I wanted to do anyway), but I was tired of his BS, so I threw few IB's on the tank and instead of BBing I started to meditate, and asked "Is this right blue ball, or?" b:dirty

Once I kicked out a squad member because he was pushy and rude... Just don't take anyone's BS and you'll be fine. After all, they can't survive without u

dont they fish people have aoes to prevent heal aggro?
or are quite a lot of them unable to think of the cleric?

poor barbs cant tank anymore

fish always wins the who-gets-aggro-game

*remembers TT3-3 runs with a 1shot-dead friend fish every 5 seconds* b:chuckle (me on barb with plenty of hp-time for the cleric to rez..)

some pple know how to control their aggro. They can mentally calculate(or feel) at what point should they stop whacking, change gear, slow down, etc before they take the aggro.

The fail sins/ or DD, are the ones who think just doing the utmost damage is the one and only best way to go. In some subscription games or just plain other games, they would quickly be kicked from endgame guilds cause their not smart enough to learn 'control'

lol i think sins are clerics worst enemies. they bother them all day long in squad, use stealth and say "hey heal me!" and im like "i cant u have stealth and ur far away!" and worst paret is in an fb when they say that and i tell them that they bring all the enemies in that area to the one were in so that means i have to be EXTRA careful and heal ALL the players there. one time i got so angry i didnt want to heal the sin and everyone was ok with it XD well this only happened to me tho but heres what they might do.

The sin was an idiot. Let him/her die repeatedly until they either learn their lesson or leave the party. Same goes for players of any class who pull that garbage.

Lol i have gotten a bit more "diva" lately. When someone is being a total **** i pm the leader saying its them or me, and they always kick the annoying dd rather than the healer XD. I only do it to total **** hats though

wow! Thank god other people have had this problem too, I thought it was just me

I had a sin send me some pretty nasty pms after I let her die in a bh because she kept forcing me to heal her instead of the tank/bms and I got fed up, so I stopped healing her

.
However, my thinking is this: I can't rez myself, (sadly b:sad ) so if I die, I'm basically SOL, but if my squadmate that is being a moron dies, well they can get a rez and not lose NEARLY the xp I will.
And also, EVERYONE who wants to play this game (properly) should be aware and KNOW that a cleric heals the tank FIRST before anyone else. Because if the tank isn't fail, he's the one who's going to be keeping the entire damn squad from being aggrod and killed. So if naughty-bad little noobish players want to run off and get themselves killed because they're trying to be an epic failure, (or so I assume) then that's just too darn bad b:pleased

So clerics: Keep your chins up and your chests out, because we're freaking EPIC at what we do, and no sin or any other class can tell you how to do your job because clearly, they aren't you, and if they were the squad would be dead because they still wouldn't have a clue. b:thanks

This is the best strategy in my experience. If they insist on being stupid, let them die without thought.

Yea I kinda run into such kind of people, they expect you to keep chasing them with IH and just go adventurous, while the tank is attacking something else. Or even when there's a BH, I'm usually the first to be in the dungeon, a sin comes, then he asks for buffs to start clearing, I tell him we should wait for most of the squad to give squad buffs, so they start to grumble. Also there was once a sin asking for buffs WHILE we were killing Ranker and the group was getting hit with AoE, just DUDE!!! ( He was turning in and came when we were killing the boss )

And yep most sins I met think they can tank and keep aggro of bosses, not knowing that I must spam heal them all the time because with every hit they take their HP drops to 50%, not giving me time to heal someone else especially wth AoE and burn A LOT of pots.

I really don't hate that class or tend to offend it, but they don't make much sense sometimes XD

if someone is being an **** i will let them die barb sin or what ever

ill let squad wipe as i holy path out of the area and wait for them to a). apologise for being an **** or b) kick me out of squad
if they kick me their loss im a cleric ill find another squad
