Hi, Any information in this guide which is similar to other guides or other original user works in Perfect World forums or elsewhere is purely coincidental, This guide has been written from scratch using my knowledge gained from personal experience unless specifically noted.

Also, of course this guide can't teach you every small thing and it cannot replace your brain. It was written to help you understand what Rebirth is, how to prepare and to explain in a basic way what you must do for your own class. You must learn in the field as you make attempts and your confidence grows, the same as all players who first started. However the guide is fairly detailed and has been submitted to each classes forum thread for modifications and approval by the community before publication here.

Rebirth Explained
The Basic Guide to Rebirth Beta

What is Rebirth Beta?

Rebirth Beta is a series of 8 quests or stages in which multiple waves of mobs must be killed, along with a boss to end each stage in order to proceed to the next.

The monsters and boss need killed to prevent them from attacking and killing a fixed and immobile beast, the Harpy Wraith which is located behind you in the area where combat takes place. You must protect it and prevent monsters from attacking and eventually killing it.

Each stage has 5 waves of mobs. Shortly after the 5th wave of mobs appears, the boss will also appear. (Stage 5 has no boss listed; currently the objective is to kill mobs).

Bosses are the last monster that needs to be defeated in order to proceed to the next stage. The boss must be killed within 15 minutes or it disappears, you fail the whole rebirth and all squad members must leave the instance, break squad then start the entire rebirth over again after getting 6 more rebirth orders.
What are the requirements for Rebirth Beta?

- A squad of 6 players.
- All players must be level 56-70.
- You must not have a full quest list; the leader of the squad needs 6 available spaces.
- You must have 1 Rebirth Beta Order.
- You must give your Order to the squad leader, the leader needs 6 to teleport the squad into the instance and begin the first stage.
- To enter the Rebirth instance all squad members must be near the same Spiritual Disciple. You cannot be embracing another player, sitting down, on a mount, trading or engaged in a duel.
- All players must be ready to spend about 3 uninterrupted hours at their computer.
What is the reward for completing Rebirth Beta?

The most commonly discussed and mentioned reward is exp and spirit. However, Celestones, shards, gear and coins can drop from bosses in later stages of the Rebirth as well. Exp and spirit are only rewarded after the stage boss is killed. Monsters killed inside rebirth are worth about 1 exp and 1 spirit each so killing the waves of mobs won't level help you level quickly. The exp each player will receive as a reward is global, it is not based on player level which means the lower your level the more beneficial it will be when you complete it. This is the exp and spirit reward for killing each of the bosses.

Boss Exp SP

Boss 1: Spirit of Thromh the Mighty 24,292 Exp 5,083 Sp
Boss 2: Qingzi's Spirit 30,800 Exp 6,419 Sp
Boss 3: Hercule Trioc's Spirit 68,591 Exp 12,723 Sp
Boss 4: Hexocelot Lieutenant's Spirit 30,733 Exp 5,824 Sp
Boss 5: Defeat The Offending Monsters 112,957 Exp 23,410 Sp
Boss 6: Damned Gaurnob's Spirit 112,833 Exp 25,032 Sp
Boss 7: Cenequus Polearm's Spirit 132,694 Exp 29,021 Sp
Boss 8: Mirage Generator 255,825 Exp 53,092 Sp

768,725 Total Exp 160,604 Total Spirit

At level 69, a player needs 1,057,360 exp to level. The exp reward for finishing Beta is 768,725. If you perform the correct calculations, 768,725 is 72% of my required exp to level.

What is a Rebirth Order and how do I get one?

A Rebirth Order is a passport which enables you to enter the instance where the quests and the action takes place. To acquire a Rebirth Order you must first retrieve a Duty Badge. Locate the Adventure Assistant in one of the major cities and talk to the Khatru Pup and choose "Duty Badge". You can get one free each day from the Khatru Pup. It allows you to enter a rebirth instance or the cube of fate room 1. It cannot be traded or discarded. This is the item that will be exchanged for an actual Rebirth Beta Order.

To exchange your duty badge for a Rebirth Order, locate the Spiritual Disciple in one of the major cities, talk to the NPC and choose “Quest Related” then select "One for all". The actual Rebirth Order will appear in your inventory. This item can be traded or discarded, unlike the Duty Badge. Next trade or drop your rebirth order so the squad leader can have it. Remember the leader needs 6 to teleport the squad into the instance. Everyone can or should bring their own. Otherwise they may be purchased from other players.
Rebirth Auras

Rebirth is considered to be impossible to complete using the player skills from each class, HP/MP charms or Multiflavor Jiaozi and genie skills only. For this reason extra help is available in the form of an object defined as an “Aura”. There are 5 different types of auras: HP, MP, Chi, Attack and Defense. There are also 4 different levels for the auras. Level 1 is least effective; level 4 is the most effective. The Hp aura increases your HP refill rate, The MP aura increases your MP refill rate, Chi increases your chi refill rate, Attack raises your attack damage and Defense raised your defense. Higher aura levels have more dramatic effects. The auras must be activated for usage; they are not operational from the start of rebirth. Activating auras is not free however. A special item can be obtained in rebirth called “Celebeans”. Celebeans are required to active them.

Once the squad is buffed either seconds before entering the instance or just before everyone takes their position and everyone is ready to begin, the squad leader must talk to the NPC “Messenger Fire”, Click “Quest Related”, select “Evil Dies Here”, “Please take the six orders with you”, and finally “There is no turning back now we will proceed”. Every player will get the Rebirth quests in the quest log which displays the amount of exp and spirit you can expect to get once you kill the boss at the end of a stage in addition to a timer. The leader must have 6 quest spots open to get the aura quests. If the rebirth fails for some reason, the failed quests must be manually deleted before entering another Rebirth instance and the squad must be broken and formed again.

After the Rebirth quest is taken, 5 more NPCs will appear, one for each type of aura: Revelation Health, Revelation Mana, Revelation Chi, Revelation Defense and Revelation Attack. The leader should immediately talk to each of the NPCs and get quests from them. These quests are for exchanging beans for aura activation. The leader can get the quests later in the rebirth after beans are collected but it's more common to do it from the start. The order in which auras are activated is very important since they have a very strong and consequential effect on the party so choose wisely. Commonly the auras in Beta are activated in the following order as you collect enough beans to activate them: Mana, Health, Defense, Attack, Chi, Health, Defense, Attack, Chi.
Beans and Beansprouts

In addition to receiving quests the leader is supplied with a small quantity of bean sprouts. Bean sprouts are not quite the same as Celebeans. Beansprouts can only be used when your squad is composed of 1 player of each class referred to as a “Rainbow squad”. Having a rainbow squad awards the squad leader with these bonus beans to raise more auras. The Blademaster must be lead to utilize this function. Commonly the Blademaster is made party leader for this reason. In addition to that, the leader also receives 6 “Happy Valley Tickets”, which the Blademaster needs so they can get the running quests. The NPC that provides the Blademaster with the running quest the "Reciprocator" is located in the second half of the bean farming room. In order to receive the running quests, the Blademaster must surrender the Happy Valley Tickets to the NPC in exchange. This is also another reason the Blademaster should be made the squad leader. Each running quest is timed; they must be completed within 10 minutes.

When stage bosses arrive, it is common at certain bosses for all players except the Blademaster, healer and Barbarian to farm Celebeans from chests in the designated areas, then meet at the boss before the 15 minute deadline is up and give the squad leader the Celebeans so additional auras can be activated. Celebeans cannot be farmed immediately after entering the Rebirth instance. The Celebean chests do not appear until 5 minutes after the rebirth quest is given.

Normally, when there is one minute left to kill the boss before it disappears, a warning emerges. A 10 minute, 5 minute and one minute warning are broadcast in later rebirths, Gamma and Delta, however in Beta; there is no warning at any time. This means when the boss officially arrives, a white message is inserted into the chat window that reads: “Timer Started”. At this time when the boss can be seen, the quest list should be opened and the timer should be noted so you know when the timer actually started and when you must be back in the main area to help kill the boss, give the squad leader the collected Celebeans, rebuff and to get your exp and spirit for killing the boss. All members must be present for the boss’s casualty. You may keep the quest log open to track the time or check it periodically or a person such as the Barbarian or Blademaster volunteers to let the rest know when to return. The chart below is completed to wave 2 of stage 3. That is the farthest I have gotten in Beta.

    Archers:

    - Your main job as an archer is too keep Barrage of Arrows operating at all times possible during combat and fixed on Gods Eye. You must use Sharpened tooth arrow on each boss and use both Sharpened Tooth Arrow and Thunderous Blast on mobs in the first few waves as well when Gods Eye is not available. Your secondary responsibility is farming Celebeans.

    - It can be recommended to use assist attack on the Barbarian or Blademaster in the first waves when trying to select a mob, then use AOE attack skills. If you randomly click inside groups of mobs or you may travel across the landscape from your position without selecting any mobs.

    - In the first waves, if you decide to use Barrage of Arrows try not to select the same increased life mob as the Blademaster, the mob will die very fast and you will not be able to cast a second time without using a Golden Jade powder or attacking Gods Eye. Before casting Barrage of Arrows for the first time, it is a good idea to cast Sharpened Tooth Arrow first.

    - In the first waves, if you decide not to use Barrage of Arrows, you should use Sharpened tooth arrow and Thunderous Blast for AOE attacks. Do not single attack mobs if those skills are not in cool down and are available for use. A strategy that can be used it positioning with duel Archer squads: Te archer with the strongest Sharpened Tooth Arrow on the right side of Gods Eye for the best viewof the incoming mobs. Once they all arrive and get led into the AOE areas the Archer with the leveled Sharpened Tooth can cast it more effectively into the mobs.

    - In the first waves try to target increased life mobs as Barrage of Arrows targets, they die slower than increased defense mobs.

    - Always assist attack the wizard to target Gods Eye for a Barrage of Arrows target or building chi. If for some reason you need to build chi while mobs are present attack the mobs to build chi, don't use Gods Eye.

    - Never use Wingspan to push mobs away from the party, even if the healer or Wizard is taking hits. The Blademaster may not be able to stun the mobs which will get other players mobbed instead of rescued.

Archer skills that must be maxed at the level you attempt Beta:

    - Barrage of Arrows: Consumes mana and ammunition every 3 seconds constantly dealing physical AOE damage to waves of mobs, your primary attack skill.

    - Level 4 is the max at level 68
    - Level 3 is the max at level 65
    - Level 2 is the max at level 62
    - Level 1 is the max at level 59

    - Bow Mastery: It increases the damage of all ranged attacks.

    - Level 9 is max level 69
    - Level 8 is max level 64
    - Level 7 is max level 59

Not required but helpful skills to have maxed:

    - Sharpened Tooth Arrow: For dealing AOE damage while lowering maximum HP on mobs and bosses.

    - Level 6 is the max at level 69
    - Level 5 is the max at level 65
    - Level 4 is the max at level 61

    - Thunderous Blast: Can be used to deal extra AOE damage to waves of mobs in the first waves.

    - Level 7 is the max at level 68
    - Level 6 is the max at level 64
    - Level 5 is the max at level 60

    Useful Genie Skills:

-Tangling Mire: Creates a mire under the target and all enemies within 15 meters, reducing their movement speed by 15% and physical defense by 35%.

-This should be used on every wave possible that you are using Barrage of Arrows. It helps you to deal massive damage. It is especially important to use on mobs at the 5th wave. They seems to have the highest physical defense and HP when compared to other waves. It is VITAL the mobs which you fight get killed before the next wave to prevent you from getting overwhelmed and mobbed.. Stage 5 mobs are extremely important because when the boss arrives, without flaw the mobs should be dead so everyone can farm the maximum amount of Celebeans to activate Auras, the mobs should be killed before farming.

    - Tree of Protection ( Affinity: Wood 3 - Water 4 ): At level 10 Increases max HP by 30% for 5 seconds. Restores 20% of your max HP every 3 seconds for 6 seconds.

-Helpful emergency healing skill in case pots or Multiflavor Jiaozi are in cool down and increases your survivability in general. It should be used a second or two before you actually need healing, the healing effect is not instant.

    - Second Wind ( Affinity: Wood 1 - Earth 1 - Water 1 ): Can serve as a replacement for Tree Of Protection. At level 10, instantly heals you, for 810 HP, every Genie Strength point increases the healing by 2%.

    Other Recommendations

    - It is highly recommended to wear both an HP and MP charm to help keep you alive and cut back on HP / MP refill item spam.

    - Bring about 50 Multiflavor Jiaozi ( HP )and 50 Yuanxiao ( MP ) to fill HP or MP.

    - Accuracy Powder is not required but can be helpful to use just before using Barrage of Arrows to inflict more damage

    - If you decide to use Barrage of Arrows on the first waves of mobs, you may consider bringing Golden Jade powders ( Instantly gain one Spark ) so your Barrage of Arrows can be prepared for the next waves without the need for chi building.

    - Physical attack charms or elite ammunition is not required but helpful when killing the strongest waves or assisting with bosses

    - Bring more ammunition than you think you need. It’s better to bring too much than too little.

    Clerics:

    - Your main responsibility is too buff the squad; keep Regeneration Aura up at all costs and to purify the Barbarian or other squad members when necessary.

    - Never go AFK or take your eyes off the screen. This is something many healers do in T.T, dungeons and all places which you think it is safe or acceptable to go AFK because your job is done or boring. Your job is not done and it is never acceptable to go AFK when mobs are close or when your party is not aware you are gone. Your job is to survive and keep your squad alive by ensuring Regeneration Aura is launched as soon as possible in the event it gets interrupted or it fails for some other reason.

    - It is a good idea to bring a few Golden Jade powders ( Instantly gain one Spark ) in case Regeneration Aura gets deactivated. Later in the Rebirth instance, the Chi Aura is activated and chi is not really a problem because it fills without any action on your part. You must survive to that point first. Until then, your Regeneration Aura can fail from mob hits or it can be stopped by Gods Eye and if it does you will not have any chi to get it working again and it is likely your squad members will die. You cannot slack off or take it easy; it demands your full attention.

Cleric skills that must be maxed at the level you attempt Beta:

Ironheart Blessing: Recovers a fixed amount of Hp depending on the skill level and additional HP based on your base magic attack

    - Level 10 is max at level 51

    - Greater Protective Aura: Grant all squad members within 15 meters bonus 60% to equipment's physical defense for 1 hour.

    - Level 1 is max at level 39 after Vanguard Spirit level 10 at level 36

    - Aegis Spirit: Grant squad members within a 15 meter radius a 60% bonus to equipment's magic defense for 1 hour.

    - Level 1 is max at level 46 after Magic Shell level 10 at level 43

    - Exalted Renewal: Increase the health and mana regeneration rate of all squad members
within a 15 meter radius by 10 points per second for 1 hour.

    - Level 1 is max at level 46 after Magic Shell level 10 at level 53 after Celestial Guardian's Seal level 10 at level 50

    - Arcane Empowerment: Grant all squad members within a 15 meter radius Arcane Power, increasing their any weapon magic attack bonuses by 70% for one hour.

    - Level 1 is max at level 59 after Spirit's Gift level 10 at level 56

Regeneration Aura: Focus your empathetic energy to heal squad members within 15 meters of you. Use 500 mana every 5 seconds to recover HP equal to 300 plus 20% of base magic attack every 5 seconds and cut all damage taken by 50%

    - Level 1 is max at level 59

Not required but helpful skills to have maxed:

Purify: To remove all debuffs from the barb or other squad members

    - Level 9 is the max at level 69
    - Level 8 is the max at level 64
    - Level 7 is the max at level 59

    Useful Genie Skills:

    - It is highly recommended to wear an HP charm to help keep you alive and cut back on HP Jiaozi spam.

    - It is recommended but not required that you wear an MP charm to also reduce Yuanxiao spam. the MP aura should fill your MP faster than Regeneration Aura can use it.

    - Bring about 50 Multiflavor Jiaozi ( HP )and 50 Yuanxiao ( MP ) to fill HP or MP.

    - It is a good idea to bring a few Golden Jade powders in the event Dragon's Breath fails or you have insufficient chi to launch it again.

    Barbarians:

    - Your main job is to stand at the mouth of the valley outside the healing from Regeneration Aura. When a wave of mobs is coming you must spam Roar, Frighten and Alpha Male to take aggro on all the mobs in the wave without dying then control and guide them into the concentrated overlapping AOE area of the Wizard or Archers. This must be done quickly without letting the mobs get behind the party or letting them spread apart.

    - You need to spam the aggro skills and perform any maneuver necessary to get waves of mobs inside the concentrated AOE area. Many times, to ensure all mobs are inside the AOE area, it can be necessary to run past the Archers, Wizards or Cleric to confirm even the very last mob is taking AOE damage.

    - When gathering close range physical attack mobs, do not stand in one place, you will take a lot of damage and you might die. You can avoid taking many hits by waiting until the first mobs in a wave get close to you, then begin to run in a circle causing them to chase you until you can aggro most or all of the mobs and avoid taking heavy damage. You will probably need both Tranquilizing Orbs and Multiflavor Jiaozi to buy some time for your charm cool down.

    - Alpha Male should be used just as most or all of the mobs in a wave are close together and attacking you so you can begin to lead them into the AOE area without the Wizard, Archers or Blademaster pulling aggro from you. Close range mobs will enter the AOE area first, you may be required to run through the AOE so that when the ranged mobs pass through the Blademaster can stun them and stop them while you use Frighten on the close range mobs once again and continue to guide them into the AOE where they should rest. All of your aggro holding skills should be alternated to do this so the mobs do not spread or aggro the Wizard, Cleric, Archers or the Blademaster. This method is very important when it comes to directing long range magic attack mobs into the AOE area because often times they stop following and attack at range, they need to be brought into the AOE area.

    - You should also keep the squad buffed with Beast King's Inspiration and Strength of the Titans after bosses.

Barbarian skills that must be maxed at the level you attempt Beta:

    - Roar: For holding aggro, higher levels are more powerful

    - Level 8 is the max at level 69
    - Level 7 is the max at level 64
    - Level 6 is the max at level 59

    - Frighten: Reduces the mob defense and speed

    - Level 7 is the max at level 68
    - Level 6 is the max at level 64
    - Level 5 is the max at level 60
    - Level 4 is the max at level 56

    - Beast King's Inspiration: Increases squad members HP by a certain percentage for 30 minutes.

    - Level 10 is the max at level 64
    - Level 9 is the max at level 59

    - Strength of the Titans: Increases squad members physical attack by a certain percentage for 30 minutes

    - Level 6 is the max at level 69
    - Level 5 is the max at level 65
    - Level 4 is the max at level 61
    - Level 3 is the max at level 57

    - True Form: Increases maximum HP and movement speed.

    - Level 3 is the max at level 59

    - Shapeshifting Intensity: Equipment gives a certain percentage extra physical defense in tiger form.

    - Level 10 is the max at level 58

    Useful Genie Skills:

    - Alpha male ( Affinity: Wood 5 - Earth 4 ):At level 1 and at level 10 it enrages all targets within 20 meters, increasing their revenge towards you and for 1 seconds reflecting back 129% of the damage you take. There is no benefit for leveling Alpha Male, level 1 is just as good as level 10. If you have a Venomancer in your squad, The Alpha Male reflect attribute overrides the Venomancer Bramble Guard reflect buff.

    - Your primary aggro grabbing and holding skill.

    - It is a good idea to bring Tranquillizing Orbs to decrease the damage you take in large waves and to buy some time for Jiaozi or potion cool down..

    Wizards

    - Your main responsibility is surviving at all costs and too also too keep Dragon's Breath up at all times. You should also cancel Dragon’s Breath for Fire mob waves and use Hailstorm with Black Ice Dragon Strike to inflict more damage to those mobs.

    - Your secondary responsibility is to assist in farming Celebeans. It may also help to give squad members Frostblade to add water damage to their attack during boss fights.

    - Never go AFK or take your eyes off the screen. Your job is not done because your AOE is working for the moment. It is never acceptable to go AFK or to stop paying attention when mobs are close or when your party is not aware you are gone.

    - It is a good idea to bring Golden Jade powders ( Instantly gain one Spark ) when switching from Dragon’s Breath to Hailstorm and Black Ice Dragon Strike. Hailstorm does not require chi however Black Ice Dragon Strike does. Later in the Rebirth instance, the Chi Aura is activated and chi is not really a problem because it fills without any action on your part. You must survive to that point first. Until then, Dragon’s Breath can fail from mob hits or it can be stopped by Gods Eye and if it does you will not have any Chi to get it working again and it is likely your squad members will die. You cannot slack off or take it easy; it demands your full attention.

    Blademasters

    - Your main job is to stand near the mouth of the valley at the front of the party and wait for the Barbarian to aggro the waves of mobs. When the Barbarian directs the mobs into the Wizard or Archer AOE area, You must use your stun skills to freeze the mobs and keep them in the AOE area then use Heaven's Flame to help deal damage. You must also repeatedly spam the stun skills to prevent the Wizard or Archers from taking hits from the mobs, this is very important. At times mobs may aggro on one of the Wizards or Archers and it is your responsibility to do your best at taking aggro off them to keep them alive. You should use Alpha Male when Roar of the Pride or other stuns are cool down and mobs are no longer stunned and are attacking the Wizard/Cleric/Archer. You should also spam Myriad Sword Stance to reduce the attacking mobs physical and magic attack. Meteor Rush: can also be used to direct mobs into the AOE area.

    - Your secondary responsibilities are to get the running quests done and activate Auras swiftly when the squad meets back in the main combat area after farming Celebeans.

Blademaster skills that must be maxed at the level you attempt Beta:

    - Roar of the Pride: Your main AOE stun skill. Higher level results in a higher success rate to stun.

    - Level 10 is the max at level 68
    - Level 9 is the max at level 63
    - Level 8 is the max at level 58

    - Heaven's Flame: Your primary damage dealing AOE skill

    - Level 4 is the max at level 68
    - Level 3 is the max at level 65
    - Level 2 is the max at level 62
    - Level 1 is the max at level 59

    - Aura of the Golden Bell: Gives squad members 60% additional physical defense for 30 minutes

    - Level 10 is the max at level 58

    - Will of the Bodhisatva: Increases movement speed by 100%, increases evasion while moving by 100%, immunity to stun and freeze for 15 seconds.

    - Level 1 is the max at level 59

    - Diamond Sutra: Immediately recover 20% of your maximum HP and recover an additional flat amount of HP over 15 seconds.

    - Level 9 is the max at level 69
    - Level 8 is the max at level 64
    - Level 7 is the max at level 59

    - Tiger Leap: Instantly leaps forward a specific distance based on skill level used to do running quests faster

    - Level 9 is the max at level 69
    - Level 8 is the max at level 64
    - Level 7 is the max at level 59

Myriad Sword Stance: Deals physical AOE damage and reduces mobs physical and magic attack for a specified amount of seconds.

    - Level 1 is the max at level 59

Not required but helpful skills to have maxed:

    - Fissure: Another damage dealing AOE skill which also slows mobs.

    - Level 6 is the max at level 69
    - Level 5 is the max at level 65
    - Level 4 is the max at level 61
    - Level 3 is the max at level 57

    - Drake Sweep: A Physical damage dealing AOE skill.

    - Level 7 is the max at level 68
    - Level 6 is the max at level 64
    - Level 5 is the max at level 60
    - Level 4 is the max at level 56

    - Highland Cleave: A Physical damage dealing AOE skill.

    - Level 8 is the max at level 67
    - Level 7 is the max at level 63
    - Level 6 is the max at level 59

    - Tiger Leap: Instantly leaps forward a specific distance based on skill level used to do running quests faster

    - Level 9 is the max at level 69
    - Level 8 is the max at level 64
    - Level 7 is the max at level 59

    - Meteor Rush: Deals Physical damage in front of you knocking mobs back a specified distance depending on skill level. It can be useful for directing mobs into the AOE area.

    - Level 6 is the max at level 69
    - Level 5 is the max at level 65
    - Level 4 is the max at level 61
    - Level 3 is the max at level 57

    Useful Genie Skills:

    - This is your primary aggro grabbing and holding skill to protect Archers, Clerics and Wizards. This is a must have skill for when other skills are in cool down.

    Other Recommendations

    - It is highly recommended to wear an HP charm to help keep you alive and cut back on HP Jiaozi spam.

    - It is not required that you wear an MP charm. The MP aura should fill your MP faster than you can spam skills, only requiring you to use some MP potions or a few Yuanxiao during the first waves in the first stage.

    - Bring about 50 Multiflavor Jiaozi ( HP ) and 10-15 Yuanxiao ( MP ) to fill HP or MP.

    - It is a good idea to bring Tranquillizing Orbs to decrease the damage you take in large waves and to buy some time for Jiaozi or potion cool down..

    Final Thoughts

In the few attempts I made, I did deal more damage than the wizard. ( The wizard was about 9 levels below me and using the TT 60 weapon while I was using the level 69 -70 Slingshot) What I noticed is that the amount of hits I took was solely dependent on the Blademaster spamming stun skills in addition to the barb holding aggro while the Blademaster assists in pulling mobs into the concentrated AOE area. If the Blademaster does not spam the stun skills, you will take a lot of hits if you are the primary damage dealer.

If the Blademaster SPAMS stuns, it's not bad at all, With a good Blademaster and Barbarian combination getting mobs in the concentrated AOE area not allowing them to escape the AOEs and not allowing mobs to attack at range or up close, my repair was less than 3k, with mobs behind me, the Blademaster and barb not getting them to the proper location or not using stuns my repair was 14k after a few minutes of abuse. Classes without heavy armor will suffer unbelievable amounts of damage to themselves and their gear if they take a lot of hits.

Their gear has a lower endurance and it can also BREAK your gear. You really shouldn't have any piece of gear broken, it can be big trouble and it's likely you will fail. At times the mobs will spread out and not stay grouped. Some mobs may go behind you and continuously hit you. This is very problematic. First it shreds your gear like paper and second those mobs need to die before the boss gets there. Once this happens, it's difficult for the Blademaster and barb to find the time to give those mobs specialized attention because they are focused on other mobs and waves at the front of the battle.

I recommend making attempts with the same users, so everyone gets the same amount of experience and learns together. As you learn and become confident, you all begin to work together more efficiently and effectively. Using a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) program like Teamspeak or Ventrilo is not required it can help a LOT, especially when trying to teach a new person who is willing to take it seriously, although you can use squad chat too. If you don't party with the same players I feel you have the same odds to succeed each time you try because there is usually one player who has to learn the same things repeatedly which you probably already know. Your chain is only as strong as the weakest link.

    In my opinion only,

    - All players should be level 60 ( Minimum) or higher (64 or level 69 with maxed relevant skills is much more smooth)
    - All players should have a TT or legendary weapon.
    - All players should have at least one or two other legendary gears in addition to their TT or Legendary weapon. For example: Attack rings and one or two armor gears is good. The more the better. Or TT gears at level 70.
    - All players should have their skills maxed (At the level they attempt Beta) which deals with any skills mentioned above
    - All players should bring HP and MP Multiflavor Jiaozi and a few chi potions.
    - All players should be wearing an HP an MP charm. Regardless if Auras should be sufficient. I recommend it for all the reasons you can’t think of not the reasons you can.

Many people disagree that you should be wearing a charm either HP or MP. Anything that is automated and less fallible to player timing and other factors increases your chances of success. In Rebirth, anything to increase your chances of succeeding should be done. There are more important things to focus on while doing Rebirth than babysitting a Multiflavor Jiaozi hotkey because you don't wear a charm or you don't think it's necessary or the Aura should save you. That doesn't mean it's not possible, it means I personally recommend you do it. If your an experienced Rebirth Gamma and Delta char on an alt, your qualified to determine if you need a charm or not. I recommend it for first timers and players who have never completed it.

    Conclusion

Rebirth is fun when you squad with players who want to commit to doing runs, they eventually learn and understand their job, they do their job well and you can make progress while learning together. It is not so fun when people get angry, name call or just plain quit, failing the whole squad. I had tons of fun while doing Beta, learning something new and fun about the game. I really enjoyed doing it and trying to complete it. It wasn't worth the exp or MP usage to me at all because I can grind solo for free and probably get the same amount of exp in the same timeframe. I burned far more than 1 million Mp in the 6 or so attempts I made because I am pure dexterity and I have no MP shards. I only have my gears that add MP. Although it wasn't worth the exp or sp but it was worth the experiences I had and what I now know. It was absolutely worth the fun.

I hope this information is useful to anyone who wants to learn about Rebirth in general or complete Rebirth beta. I could not have written this information without the users who invited me to their squads, allowed me to record the runs in HD video and gave me permission to share what I have written and answered my questions.

First and foremost I would like to thank Violet_Spark, for making minor corrections in information and answering general Rebirth questions in the infancy of my knowledge of Rebirth in general and at the start of this document. Also for accepting me as the Beta Archer and inviting me to squads. Thank you Violet for some minor corrections in the guide that were plain wrong, your recommendation and your short but extremely valuable additions as well.

BambooAddict for providing Barbarian related feedback and answering general Rebirth questions and allowing me to be squad lead to learn and record the GUI options for the guide.

Thank you all for answering my questions about things I didn't understand.

***Sorry to my Beta squad. I'm sorry we couldn't continue to do Rebirth together I hope you finish it successfully. I wish we could continue doing them, I had a lot of fun with you all. Best wishes.

    Credits

Thank you to the players below who answered my call for help with genuine and serious intentions rather than flame me and troll my threads. Without your help this guide would not be good at all. Your kindness deserves to be remembered.

    In no particular order:

Thank you Falcondance from Heavens Tear for the following contribution:

Suggesting Tree of Protection, be replaced with Second Wind. (At level 10, which can be done on a level 50 genie, heals 730 hp instantly and every strength point on the genie adds 2% healing). This is for several reasons:

If your healing items are on cool down, you will die unless you have something instant up your sleeve. Second Wind is completely instant, while Tree makes you wait a good few seconds during which you could die.

Second Wind is modded by Strength. So is Tangling Mire. Tree, however, needs Dex. Thus, two birds killed with one stone
Thank you Asterelle from Sanctuary for recommending I change some strategic information.
Thank you ChaoticTears from Harshlands for adding Blademasters need to use Alpha Male to take aggro from and protect Archers, Clerics and Wizards.
Thank you Dreaded_Fate from Lost City for explaining when Blademasters should use Alpha Male when Roar of the Pride is in cool down and mobs are no longer stunned and are attacking Wizard/Cleric/Archer.
Thank you Ursa from Dreamweaver for the following contributions: Adding Essential Sutra and Gush and Pyro for boss fights. (Undine Strike could not be added to this list because Beta is level 56-70 and Undine Strike is acquired at level 79 ) And also adding information regarding MP charms, Chi potions, and Essential Sutra for increasing maximum MP.
Thank you King_Solomon from Heavens Tear for making the following contribution. There is no benefit to leveling Alpha Male, It’s reflect overrides Bramble Guard, Myriad Sword Stance can be used to cause mobs to deal lower magic and physical damage.
Thank you Sirrobert from Dreamweaver, SurferGirl from Dreamweaver for the following contribution: Use BIDS and Hailstorm on Fire mobs in place of Dragon's Breath.
Thank you Sirrobert from Dreamweaver for recommending an anti-bleed genie skill for bleed mobs.
Thank you Illyana from Dreamweaver for the following contribution: The archer with the stronger sharpened tooth arrow should be on the right side of the Eye, as they will have a better "view" of the incoming wave of mobs and a better ability to hit more mobs with a sharpened tooth arrow skill.
Thank you NiteBlade from Outlaw for some Blademaster related feedback before the information went into the forums.
Thank you to MagicHamsta from Lost city and all the other players who requested FrostBlade be added

I did not complete beta. I have a 56 minute HD video from entrance to Stage 3 wave 2 and various other footage from when I was an amateur. The video was taken on my machine so it's an archer perspective. I have footage of setting up auras and such also but not running quests. Were you interested in seeing something specific?

    Regards.

The problem I'm having right now is that the thread is not popular at all. I wouldn' t expect it to be considering the new classes. However I have the hours of footage. It's difficult to articulate my thoughts when it comes ideas for a video. Theres a lot of footage and people don't like long videos or multi-part videos. It's difficult to compress an hour or more of video into 10 minutes. Because of these problems a video may not be released I haven't decided yet. Unfortunately there was never a great run in which I could display everything I learned before the squad I ran with stopped doing runs or at least stopped inviting me and contacting me back. If I were to publish a video I would want the proper tactics to be used in the video.

    Regards
