I would just like to point out for others that I run Ubuntu 10 LTS 64 bit and have not run into any problems playing PWI and Jade Dynasty. Thanks for not making me switch back to WinDoze...

    What wine version?
    Do you use winetricks (DX9)?
    Or just out of the box?

    i use archlinux wine1.1-44-1 and winetricks 20091213-2 works very well for me. the only issue i have is the sound stops working after 6 hours. other than that it is flawless.
