Just wanted to know if anyone else knows or noticed that after flight mastery is level 4 or higher, the natural elven wings no longer drain mp on archers?

    Flight mastery is only intended to affect the speed of the white starter wings. If you stopped draining MP, odds are you either switched to the lvl 30 brown wings, or started wearing a piece of armor with either +magic or +magic recovery. Unless of course they broke yet another skill unintentionally :O

    All levels of flight mastery MP drain, only reason mine doesn't is because of my MP regen cape I have.

    ahh, ok. I just kinda freaked out because when i leveled it(leveling it til i can save money for better wings) my wings suddenly stopped draining mp. But, it's draining again. So idk if that was lag lol. Anyways, thanks for the answer.

    like other posters said before me: the mp drain is measured by your mp stat points/regen.

    That's why lvl1 clerics don't see their mana draining: their mp regen at lvl 1 is already high enough to keep flying continuously.
    But once you start fighting, your mp regen will be cut and then clerics too will see their mp bar drain from flying ;)

    simple explanation:
    if you've got gear with +mp regen or +magic points, then your mp regen will be higher so it seems like your not using mana anymore.
    When I got the meaning of melee mixed up:
    'Maj.. Melee ffs.. means I'm punching you in the face 1 foot away!'

    my guess is perhaps you had a cleric mp regen buff on you when you noticed the mp not going down..is that possible

    I know i did not have cleric buff on me at the time i noticed it nor was i wearing any +mp regen gear. That's the weird thing. After a few days of observing, i noticed that the mp drain sort of went on and off. Which was hella weird lol. It wouldn't drain for say 10 minutes, then after that it would begin draining again. So I don't know if it's lag or some kind of weird glitch/bug.

    How much +magic do you need for that? Or does MP regen grow with level anyway? It would be worth an inventory slot or two to keep some rings or so around for longer distance travel... assuming the brown wings are slower than the white ones with Flight Mastery :-)

    20 magic total to have a bonus mp regen to cover flight, fairly easy to find a cheap cape in ah with + mp regen

    Thanks, I'll put that on the ToDo list :-) Right now I'm not at a stage where I'd need to fly large distances anyway... so it doesn't really matter that I forgot to ask how much +mp regen I'd need. Or discuss the meaning of "cheap" in relation to clvl and game progress :-)

    Keep in mind that if you choose to switch to the level 30 wings or any kind of cash shop wings, you won't drain any MP at all.
