Crafting Skills

What should I do with them? I'm a pure build Archer and was thinking that I would just do Apothecary (or whatever it's called) and Crafting, to make arrows and potions/charms. However, I was thinking that it could be a good idea to do all for money or some reason. What's the best thing to do here? I already find the Life Powder (the +50 HP per second stuff) extremely useful, as I'm not built for tanking, and making arrows from mats that I find while looking for herbs seems like a way to save money.

    You can just level them as you like. It does have some advantages to do it "early", since you can still bash materials out of monsters yourself. I'm currently having problems getting my Blacksmith to lvl 4 since I have to buy all those materials to make the required items (for the lvl 4 skills except Apothecary you have to make specific items).

    Other than that, the archer guide claims that making arrows yourself "isn't worth it", and suggests buying lvl 1 arrows (and only those), and using the ammunition that you find. I don't know why they say that, though. Maybe it's for later levels when you don't come across these lowlevel materials anymore, and monsters drop more money.

    Either way, those skills are rather cheap in terms of spirit and money, it's the materials that makes them expensive if you have to buy them.

    I don't THINK you can make money with this.

    Notably, crafting arrows doesn't increase your crafting skill.

    I will get all four crafting skills to L3 atleast, for one you might want to roll another char later, and you'll find it easier to get all the mats you need. However archer is not the best to farm mats at earlier levels hence the mats you need. After that you can decide what you want to continue with and what not. Definitely do Blacksmith atleast.

    Arrows are not worth manufacturing because you get more money selling those herbs and therefore buy more arrows than you would manufacture(get 500 manufacturing). TBH ppl simply don't pick up arrows when mobs drop them so you just pick them up. I prefer Bow over Xbow so pick up all woven fang arrows, venomous ghouls for example drop arrows.

    Logs sell like crazy(and pig iron).
