lol, there was a generation in my faction where we were all similar levels enough to do BH51's.

It just so happened that when I logged on to do my bh's (I was the cleric), I'd pm people in my faction that were in my level range if they did their BH's yet that day. If not, I'd ask them if they wanted to do them now.

If I didn't have a full squad by then, I'd move onto my friend's list of the people in my level range then.

Funny enough, my faction members stopped doing random BH squads early in the day and started waiting for me to log on and ask them individually so they'd all have a non-fail, no-death, complete BH squads. People can learn.

They have every right to try to beg for high-level BH help. Just like I have the right to totally ignore them. Simple as that. b:shutup

I usually help guildmates, if I can, and if it's within reason. Baby cleric asking for help with archer mobs? I'll help. After a while though, you learn to distinguish between the people who really need help and those who're just lazy; they are, incidentally, also the very same people who'll leave a faction in a huff if they don't get help RIGHT NOW.

Being "high" level doesn't automatically mean I got nothing to do but sit around all day waiting to extend a helping hand.

I don't anymore help with low-level FBs unless, again, it's for a guildmate, because I've been complained at that due to my high level ( compared to the lvl 19 veno ) there were only coin drops at the boss - and I did warn them about that.

I tend not to help with low-level BHs, either, because somehow people assume that just because a high-level is in squad with them, they've suddenly acquired immortality.

Asking for help is okay if it isn't something like "HELP ME WITH THIS BH OR I ******* KILL YOU!!" And yes... that has happened to me before... Funny thing was, he was 40-50 levels under me b:shocked

Like it takes them no time to keep spamming you but the minute you ask what it is they want they take at least 5 minutes to reply.

This is because they are spamming their entire Friends List, of over level 90s, to come help, right now, possible in their Guild as well, and it takes a time to go back through all the PMs to see if anyone has replied.

A man came upon a cocoon of a butterfly in his garden. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole.

It worked and worked, and then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no further.

So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily. However, he was saddened to see that it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch the butterfly. He expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time, and the butterfly would triumphantly take flight.

    Neither happened.

In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings.

It never was able to fly.

    Never.

What the man did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening would force the fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings, causing the wings to expand so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives.

If we traveled this journey without any obstacles, it would cripple us.

We would not be as strong as what we could have been.

    We could never fly.

    This is very true.

    True story here:

I once got called out to kill Suzerix, Adawolf Elder. The guy had been bugging me throughout my whole BH run to do it and when I was done with my BH, I decided I'd do it. Partied him and started flying out there.
By the time I got there he added a cleric. I wondered what that was about, cause I can solo Suze. The cleric also wondered what I was doing there, immediately asking if she was even needed. I figured he'd called her to help me, saw her waaaay down in the Dreamweaver on my map and told her I could handle it. She then sounded annoyed, as if the guy had already pulled her away from something to get her to come. The guy then insisted we still need her help and told her to fly up to us. Meanwhile, he told me to wait. Then I was annoyed because wtf, this was ****.

As I was waiting, a low level tried to fight Suze and was dying, and then he ran to me, yelling for help. So I did. Asked for lead, added the random guy to the party, and then the first guy asked why I'd done that. I told him he better come over quick cause I was killing it, asking how long Suze's spawn time is. He got annoyed, and I told him I had no choice. The cleric asked again if she was needed, and the first guy insisted she was.

By the time the cleric arrived, Suze was falling over dead and both of the guys who needed it had gotten it. The one I saved said thanks and flew off. The one who originally called me was silent. I left, since my business was done, and then a few minutes later he messaged me.

"Thanks a lot dude. Now you've given me drama. My girl is pissed at me for calling her out there for nothing and it's all your fault."

    Ya man you're welcome.

"Where's that again???? HELP ME PLSPLSPLS"

Trying to PK in secret passage is insane now. You go in there and it's just a bombardment of people asking for help with BH29, sending you random squad invites constantly because, what other reason would bring a level 90+ to secret passage other than to help with BH29

That one of the reasons I was glad when I finished all quest around Angler's village, and why I think about it deeply every time I'm asked to help kill Chin or when a guildie gets the oracles II as quest reward.

I'm ok with ppl asking for help with bh, as long they're my friends and don't annoy me with spam. But what I don't help is noobraclers. b:angry

I have seen plenty of cases like this. Pretty often you see someone saying "help me with BHXX" or "I need help with BHXX" etc. I don't like that. There are usually enough people on the BH platform to form at least one squad. I know some high levels like helping with BHs, but that doesn't happen so often you could ask for help constantly.

The other thing I don't like is asking for money. Everyone should work for their money (or CS it lol), not get it by begging. It sucks the most if someone starts PMing random faction members.

    So, what do you think?
i think if they cant even do a BH, (which is a daily BONUS quest pwi added EXTRA for us on top of OTHERS) then how the hell are they gonna live through the rest of the levels.. If they gone to school im sure they got the grammar to ask politely in common chat even to make squads. I remember in FF i had to shout for 1-2hrs to get patient pple and organize my own mission runs and that was considered the norm.

OMG i know thats so annoying. If i just fly close by any oracle spot on my cleric some lazy idiot will start whispering and begging me to heal him so he can oracle without interruptions. I dont get whats wrong with these players if they seriously think a complete stranger will be willing to spend spare time healing so they can kill same boss over and over to lvl up b:sweat

Or even worse when they offer **** money, like 50-100k or something pathetic and thinks thats a fair trade for healing 100 oracles lol.

I wouldn't heal any oracle nub for less than 2 mil per hour, even than i prolly tell them to go die since i doubt i could stand them for more than 5 min b:angry
