im not sure if this has been asked or discussed. My BF and i are going to make characters that will quest together when we reach Arch. He is making an Assassin. Im not sure what class to have. ive been everything but a Barb. i dont want to be a barb lol. so what are your suggestions? Give me reasons why thats the class i should pick.

Depends, really. Until about 60ish, Sins are dependent on Cleric buff/heals and pots. Past that point, Sins become a solo class. IMO, a Wizard would be great. You can heal him occasionally and still be the main DD of the relationship. b:chuckle

My GF went has a cleric and I have an assassin, but it is very very hard to grind together now. At lower levels it was great, she could heal me for bosses and buff us for grinding. Now, it is a really bad combo. I can solo most bosses without a cleric and grinding together is IMPOSSIBLE. (Sins at 90+ grind very efficiently by luring 5-6 mobs at a time and killing them 1 by 1 in a single spark using only bloodpaint)

If she assist attacks on me, the mob dies before she can cast.
If she aoe's the mobs I'm fighting, she gets agro on all and dies.
If she heals from above (which is not needed), I lose agro on all the mobs.

Go BM. It is very efficient to aoe grind with a bm and a sin. Quests go by MUCH faster.

Really i wouldnt advise him going sin (SOLO CLASS). 1 should go cleric the other Blademaster or Barb

I know a pair of twin brothers on my server who had the same problem. What they did though is they both just went Assassin. They are always in a squad together, and level very quickly. On bosses, they can easily just play aggro hockey till it dies, and on grinding they kill mobs twice as fast due to their speed. It is a good combination, but if you don't also play the Assassin, I would have to go with Yarly and say go Blademaster.

Didn't get the rest of it, but apparently I am the "destroyer of sin haters" as well.

    ^^This

    either sin/sin or sin/bm

my wife and i play sins together. i'm 95 now. last week i was 92 and my wife and i had been wanting to do a frost for ages to get our quests in there but no one wants to run with sins. finally we decided to just go in by ourselves. we stealthed passed all the mobs and only killed door monsters. first boss gave 12k exp without hyper stones. we got to the 2nd boss and he proved a pain. he was frenzied so 1.1m HP to get through....but on top of that he would sleep/ ice my wife while i killed him. bad for her charm :( after he died though we got 48k non hyper exp. i told my guild we just duod 2nd boss and got 48k and bam! this has now turned into a nightly run of 4-5 sins only in frost in which i tank bosses and we DD them down quick. with hyper stones i am getting 20-25% of my level in a run and runs take an hour to do up to the big room with heads. after the heads we reset and go again. it does take a chunk of charm (plat hp lasts me about 8-10 runs) but it works well and i'm willing to pay for it since my wife enjoys having something we can do that she considers special. my fellow sins in the guild also like it since they are now leveling quite quickly.

dual sins is quite fun b:cute

the only thing i'm now having trouble with getting squads for is GV, which i'm going to have to do seperate :(

i never had trouble getting pt's for BH and while i did have trouble getting a frost pt, that issue is solved
