2x event aftermath.

Did it cause gold to go higher than normal? I sure don't remember gold price being this high during last pack sale.

Sanc. 430.1k buy 450k sell.

    Sounds normal post event.

    2x events happen WAY too often - you get used to it.

    Yeah, gold is stupid right now. It should go down depending upon any new sale on Tuesday.

    It's really hard to say what 2x has done to gold prices. It couldn't have made gold any cheaper, that much is for certain.

    I'm not sure how much of an impact 2x DQ and coin drops have made, but looking at rare molds, fb book drops and HH mat prices, you'll see the economy for the 7x-9x crowd have been brutally smashed.

    Oh well, I can't say that I'm not a fan of 2x events, however they do far more harm than good.

    I agree with this. I am glad it is over, but at the same time it works very, very well for those who know how to make money during the event.

    I go back and forth on the 2x drop rate....b:surrender

    In terms of Gold, I also think the Zen bonus sale had a little to do with the rise in prices because there is nothing on sale right now that would warrant the 450l+ prices we have been seeing on LC. b:sad

    Zen bonus sale temporarily lowered the gold price a little and AH had more gold for sale. That's what I observed.

    need more 2x events..the best ever!!Kept me good for repairs/pots/paying for wined bh runs..etc.I love it!

    I think the price increase is due to the nein beast event bringing in more coins, particularly to the non cash shoppers because I know a few very heavy cash shoppers on RT that dont always go to the event because they feel it isn't worth it.

    How much impact can nien beast event be? I thought only a few can actually get rewards? During 2x event, high level players who took advantage of high lvl TTs and Nirvana runs were getting tens of mils every other day. Some probably more. I think 2x event made a much bigger impact considering how many people who don't normally farm actually farmed during it.

    And the event hands out Excitement cards (5mill) and I know more then a few that have gotten more then one after the event.

    Sure but the event gave people incentive to farm more than usual which gave them more coins.

    It is only the lazy ones that want easy/fast money that stop farming once the event is over.

    Honestly, I like Double Drops people actually do something and you do gain some money while doing it. People are willing to start new characters and actually do instances. I don't go into instances for money most of the time I go for fun. Ever since double drops stopped no one does anything. Something else has got to happen the event that is 2 times a day is not going to do anything. You have too many people that go to the event and it last maybe 15 min at the most. BH's take no time at all and not many do nirvana or tt without double drops.

    What can be done? This game is dead when you hit higher levels people who have played this game b4 oracles and hypers have worked their butt off to get to 100 and when they get there there is nothing to do. No wonder so many people have found some other game to play or just go afk and do nothing. If something fun is not brought in there might be even more people quitting. It will be a lot of cash shoppers I am sure so PWI will lose their money.


    You might have a goal but unless you can find more people to help you if your goal is TT armor/weapon, Nirvana gear, or Lunar you have no chance to finish that goal. And since people are only out to help themselves they are not going to help you if they might not get drops for themselves.

    Only the packs awarded to the top 5 finishers for each class can give excitement cards, at a 1% rate. The #1 pack has a 10% chance for ecstasy cards (1 mil), the #2-#5 pack has a 5% chance. There are 8 classes. So the overall average coin influx from each nienbeast event is:

    excitement: (8 classes)*(5 winners)*(0.01 chance)*(5 million) = 2 million avg
    ecstasy: (8 classes)*(1 winner)*(0.1 chance)*(1 million) = 0.8 million avg
    ecstasy: (8 classes)*(4 winners)*(0.05 chance)*(1 million) = 1.6 million avg

    So each iteration of the nienbeast event on average adds only 4.4 million to the economy. Less than a single best luck token from packs. It's pretty much a non-factor on gold prices. In fact I'd say all the mysterious chips being awarded encourages people to get molds from the mysterious merchant, which acts as a coin sink since each mold has a fixed coin cost. So the overall effect may actually be a decrease in the amount of coin in the economy.

    dont know about the gold prices,-never bouht any on the AH-but this event is the only time i really make any progress on my veno and other alts, and can really make enough coin to put a little away in the bank....mostly,its a matter of all my money that i have being in my pocket. and that is only a few hundred thousand at best. i make enough to get by, and if i really badly need something, its time to get god hammers and my coin chest out, and shop on the AH.
