Disabled Region
Our sincerest apologies, we cannot provide service to players in your region or to players using open proxies.
Please contact support at customerservice@perfectworldinc.com to resolve this issue.

they are form the Philippines how can they join or sign up or download so they can play in dream weaver server or do they have to play a whole different game than a usa server but isn't pwi, i =international?
any suggestions form a gm or any one that knows or had similar problem please any help would be appreciated thank you^^

    I think Philippines is served by PW-CN and PW-MY, so for official service, they'd have to use CN or for franchise MY... Though I may be mistaken. But yes, there are disabled regions that are served by other versions of the game

    any more people know more info than this if they can only use those version can they still be on the server dream weaver aka me be able to play with them just wondering

    No.

    They play on one set of servers.
    You play on another.

    You'd need to find an un-blocked proxy that they haven't detected to trick the system into letting one of you into the other game - and when they find it, they ban you.

    These countries CAN NOT play games from Perfect World Entertainment.

    China
    Hong Kong
    Japan
    Macau
    Malaysia
    North Korea
    Philippines
    South Korea
    Taiwan
    Vietnam


    Unfortunately, we are unable to allow new registrations from these region.

    We are obligated to block regions which have their own localization of Perfect World, Ether Saga, Jade Dynasty, or Battle of the Immortals. Some regions are also blocked for administrative reasons. The same regions are blocked for all of our games.

    PWI is licensed from original perfect world, our GMs have no choice, basically the owners do not want a franchise directly competing with their other versions, this also includes issues of payment systems, advertising, language support ect.

    Because publisher of PW version on those country don't want their costumer play PWI.

    International does not mean "global". International means "across more than than one nation". In the case of PWI, this is interpreted as being the North America, which is their target audience.

    Also, the banned regions have their own PWIs so in a show of courtesy, they will not let people from those regions play because that might be observed as stealing potential customers, which is bad business manners.

    PWI is owned by PW Beijing. PW-MY is a licensed franchise.

    You are correct that they don't want the various versions to directly compete with each other.
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

    Even tho its absolutely correct that its part of the license granted to those countries with their own version of PW, to be blocked on PWI, the 1 thing i dont understand is why people from Europe can play when PW-MS has a similar license agreement for Europe.

    yeah i know a **** load of people from my server that are all over Europe all the way to India n supposedly china, so why the heck cant the Philippines play? cant they just turn off proxies or change etc?

    Oh and if its business, that they worry about the wont get non from my friend they gonna be non cash player the business they would have is with me being a big cash player but since im in the USA wouldn't it be in the benefit for pwi for me to spend on 2 characters as much as i spend on this just one? Think about it gm's whats your answer to that?
