How to buy SoF fast?

I saved up lots of coins on my Archer plus I bought some gold, so I have over 70mil coins, I want to buy Herc for my new Veno. I didn't wanna buy the pet packs because they are random and I thought it's a pain in the butt to trade the feathers for SoF but now I don't know... I bought all the SoF in cat shops, the AH ones are overpriced (8k+) so I won't buy them, people only sold 500 to my cat shop (paying more than other buyers), and I only got 1200 total in the past 18 hours... x.x (I'm on a crowded PVE server, not Lost city).
How long does it take to buy all the SoF? Could anyone tell me tricks how to get them faster? I don't really want to buy teles, my money is limited and I want a hellfire drake too, lol. x.x Thanks in advance.

    Set up your shop overnight to buy SoF for whatever you're paying for it.

    That's what I did. >.< You don't know how hard it was to fall asleep with the computer on, lol. I'm buying for the highest reasonable price, paying more than other buyers... :c I guess I just have to learn how to be patient.

    The fastest way is buying the pet packs. Trading them is not a difficult process. Once you get done opening all your pet packs you can go then to trade them rather than go back and forth. You can as many as 50 of one type at a time (if you're lucky) or 10 at a time (if you are not so lucky) and anywhere in between in multiples of 10.

    Otherwise the fastest way to do it considering that you don't want to use WC or buy the AH ones, is to do what you are already doing by setting up a constant cat shop.

    Thank you for the help. Knowing my bad luck with chance items, I'd rather buy the SoF from players. I guess I can afford a few teles, maybe they will help. :)

    I "only" need 2k SoF now... and before I mess it up, I have an other question:
    I want to give the SoF to my lvl1 Veno. I want to run to Archo and get the Herc at lvl1 at that Zoo NPC. Is it possible? I mean, the Herc is lvl1, so I guess it is, but I want to make sure. x) *is a noob*

    It is just going to take you longer then buying them through pet packs.I would thought being on pvp server you would want phoenix first.

    You're going to want to get to at least level 3 for the pet-heal skill.

    But yes, it's basically possible. Just be sure you trade the ticket BEFORE you turn it into an egg - the egg isn't tradeable.
