Point of 'rep' . . .

Apart from getting a Title and crappy gear for your Title, any other use or any benefits of rep? A lot of the quests are simply not worth the experience and take long, while all you get in return is a celestone and rep. I rather Trash these quests tbh. So I wanted to make sure there are no drawbacks of not having enough rep hence no Titles.

If rep does turn out to be important any other way than quests to get as much rep as possible.

    .. Once you get to Rank 4 and past, the gear starts being pretty good.

    For instance, Rank VI and Rank VIII have some of the better weapons in the game, Rank VIII being within the top 5 weapons.

    Just one problem, the amount of reputation required. Rank VI requires 35,000 and Rank VIII requires 200,000.

    Also, the rings upwards of Rank VI are pretty good:
    R6: +2% Crit, +120 hp, -3% channeling
    R7: +3% Crit, +150 hp, -3% channeling
    R8: +4% Crit, +180 hp, -6% channeling

    Also, the rank armor is the only one in the game with -interval on it. Though, said armors are only available for Archers and Assassins.

    Other ways of getting rep:
    One Man Armies (1-3 rep each)
    Wanted notes (1-4 rep each)
    Participating in lower level tabbed FBs (varies)
    Getting Darkness Stamps from FBs as drops (varies)
    Getting Wraith Tags or Badges from Wraith Attacks (varies)
    Buying Wraith Officer's Badges from players (25 rep each)

    Crappy gear? Not at all (especially late game)
    And One Man Army quests are cool for grinding + farming reputation at the same time.

    For boosting reputation you could also buy Tags n such...

    At the beginning it may not seem as much but the higher you get the more rep is worth. My veno currently is 60+ and got the rank 4 chest piece... it is better then any mold for that lvl. The higher you get the more it is worth.

    ... I mostly leveled with dailies from about level 70. Kinda bites me in the **** now, as I'm level 91 and only have about 3,700 Reputation, much less than I would if I had done all of my quests. And the point being that it takes 5,000 reputation for Rank IV armor, which is the first rank armor for Archers that has -0.05 Interval on it.

    So just to clarify some of the rep/Title requiring Gear is better and unique than even 3 star, Legendary, TT etc, and no similar gear available. Therefore rep a necessity as much of it as possible.

    Its not about the costs. The fact is, nirvana doesnt give you -0.1 int ^^. (Nirvana leggings with -0.05 int are worth making though. And make sure its Lunar Nirvana).

    how many hundred dollars you willing to spend?
    how many hours of the day you want to be sitting in PWI
    how many months you willing to grind.

    ONE man quest yields like 3 rep at lvl 90's quest.
    FB yields 5-10 rep per boss. how many Fb you run into daily?
    at least half of the HELL and Heaven quest gives no rep.
    by the time you get to lvl 90..typical player have like 3-4k rep max..
    Player that FB sitting in fb rooms probably have like 5-7k rep at 90's.

    how many hours you want to farm in fb59 for stamps that yields 5 rep per stamp and
    the drops are not common.

    so lets say you got 7,000 rep at lvl 90.
    how are you going to get the other 28,000 rep just to get lvl 6 armor.
    there are not that many FB out there anymore.
    Wraith badges (officer) are the highest 25 rep per.

    how to obtain those badges, if you lucky drop 1 from some fb boss.
    other way is TOKENs.

    8 tokens for 1 officer badge.
    28,000 rep / 25 rep per badge = 1120 badges
    8 token per badge = 8,960 tokens
    8,960 tokens * lets say 10,000 coins per token = 89,600,000 mil coins

    OR you can get MARRY MANY TIMES and get tons of candy.
    how you going to get the wedding packs ?

    THIS only rank 6

    FINALLY someone looking at this from a more practical point of view.

    At lvl 73, I'll be hitting the 1900 reputation soon. Now, considering that boss quests tend to expire before I can do them, and that I've only done FB19 and 29, I missed a bit of rep, but I don't think it's thousands. More like 100 or 200 tops.

    Maybe "rank" stuff is nice. Maybe it's not. Who knows. I certainly don't. Don't care either.
    Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng

    i got rank 6 (35k rep) by lvl 98 b4 packs, and nope i dont play pwi that much at all, i play max 4hrs a day most of the time 2 hrs, so y dont ppl like u go out and do some 1 man army quest and start doing fbs.

    How many ppl these days keen on fbs? HARDLY ANY

    how many ppl pefer just sit on their **** and QQ? PLANTY AROUND

    I thought I remember a post saying rank 9 was in development. If there is a rank 9 there will probably be a rank 10 and so on . The only question is what will the next set after nirvana need ?? What if it needs you to decomp a nirvana set ? With Rep gear you kind of know where u stand ..if more gear comes out u will just need more rep .

    From the speculation I've read, getting rank 9 will require 200k rep. The 9jun weapon will probably be 16P (grade 16) and have +10 attack level, thus rival Warsoul. The ring will have something ridiculous like -interval and +attack level/defence level and the gear may also be grade 15/16 (thus refine the same as or better than Nirvanna). The guarantee that rank gear is always 2 socket for the weapon and 3 or 4 socket for the gear is also an important factor. If this was the case, the only Nirvanna weapons I really expect to stay in circulation as end-game weapons would be Nirvanna 2nd recast bows with advance purge and 2nd recast axes with advance beserk.

    OMA can go fast at higher lvls since people are building their end game arsenal. FB99 pays a lot of rep as well as BH 100 pt2 (66 rep per day just for that). Then there's BH Metal drops, FB59 during double drops (unwined cleared in ~1/2 hour), those A&B's you can put together often have a 9 rep payout ttl. 200k rep from a level 100 perspective is not far off.

    I think you're operating under the mistaken belief that 125 million coins worth of effort is an impossibly high sum. Thanks to Tokens, pretty much any moderately high level player who decides they want to go for Rank 6 should be able to afford it with less than a month worth of in-game effort.

    There are plenty of Rank 6 players running around now who haven't paid a dime to get it.

    It can have -0.1

    Just it takes up two stats and is hard to get.

    Yes im sure there are many different type of rank players out there.
    as you say they have not pay a dime for it..
    how long have they been in the game ?
    dont tell me they play 2-4 hours a day and they got everything need.

    as I said before, how many dollars you willing to pay or have this game become a job to see any progress ?

    I have a full time job and was able to farm Rank 8. Oh and it was 700mill...with 2x not that difficult and took 7 weeks. Farmed HH > Sold Mats > Bought 56k Tokens.

    It is 100% possible and I am not the only one that has done it this way.

    Not so true. I can save from nirvana runs, BH 100 rewards, merchandising, or just grinding at LEAST 800k coins a day. These are net income. Sometimes when I merchandise something really expensive I can save 3-4M a day. Of course not every day. For 3 months I saved almost 100M coins. I need just 30M more to buy rank VII. But rank VIII take at least 1 another year for me for sure.b:chuckle
