The hercs not worth it

Hercs, expensive to buy yet can only know four pet skills
(so can a tamable pet)
hercs, come with strong, protect reflect
(can get ingame and put on a tamable pet)


so why is the herc so expensive??


my suggestion is atleast give these hercs a 5th skill that only a herc can know
or atleast let us learn them more than four skills

make it worth actually buying one

    lol herc is one of the main reason, or better THE main reason why so many ppl actually roll a venomancer.

    he got an incredible defence, like 200% the immediatly second stronger pet in PW and very nice damage. he lets you even farm HHs totally alone!

    it doesnt need any change, the only veno pet that must be changed is the nix wich is actually quite overpowered, but im going offtopic now

    his def is only 900 over my flying pig its not much
    and pig has higher mag def

    Yes they are expensive, anything you want good in free to play games cost real life money. Windwalking Piggy makes the best "free to play" air pet, while the golems make the best land defense pet. I used to tank on my veno with the piggy until I got my herc. The only reason why I don't like my air pet fighting land mobs is because they glitch and get stuck on mountains or even when the ground is uneven.

    I think Hercs are already worth the money because I've been tanking my own FBs since FB29, which a veno without a Herc can't do. At lvl 73 now, I went to grind out lvl 83+ mobs in bunches without a problem either. I can solo most hard to do bosses on my own, like Silver Frost, which I had done for a faction member a few days ago. I don't think a 5th skill is even needed. I am happy with him bashing things around as it is. b:thanks

    Actually, without buffs a herc's defenses aren't that much higher than those of some other pets. What a herc has going for it is that it has a ****ton of HP to back up its defenses, its defenses are both high, and its damage isn't ****. To the best of my knowledge, no other pet has all 3 of those (haven't really touched my veno since the TB expansion came out so that might be outdated).

    Honestly, that depends on your gameplay style. Some people like it, some people don't. Just because hercs are expensive and they make life easier for venos doesn't make venos boring. So what if people like it the easy way out? That's their account, their game, their gaming life. Nobody should judge against others just because they want to spend time enjoying the game. I love playing my veno so I can do some solo play when I feel like it.

    depends how u look at it..maybe those venos without herc looking for easy way cuz they dont/cant cs and dont want to save 60-70mil cuz that takes alot of effort and time.
    i think herc is worth it,u can get all ur coins back and even more then that.
    another thing,game was easier without herc,atleast for me.
    everyone expect u to tank everything,well atleast things which herc can tank.
    hh runs for guild,for friends,bosses for culties or quests...i dont know about rest of venos,but for me was easier without it,u could just quest/grind in peace,like this u spend most of ur time doing runs or bosses for others.i dont remember last hh run where i could just simply dd,put macro and go afk lol b:surrender

    yes u can,theres an arrow in macro window,if i remember good ''walk behind enemy''.u put that arrow 1st then u put skills in order to cast.also u need to check cooldown of skills,so macro dont interrupt and u can go afk while dding as long u have mana,which is solved with mp charm or u can check ur monitor every few min.

    ''drag combo of skills'' how andracil said,so its not a regular attack cuz it works repeatedly till target isnt dead without u clicking skills over and over.same way how other classes for example archer,can just press atk and go afk as long he got arrows.

    you can "afk" meaning sit in front of the computer, but AFK while you go out to watch a movie or shopping isn't allowed and if caught by GMs, it's immediate ban. Not worth doing especially if you have a Herc.

    yeah i meant afk like u can watch tv while u doing it or go in kitchen get juice or something,instead of paying attention on hercs hp and timed heals.
    i dont think afk by using macro can get u banned,its not like ur using bot or getting exp/money with it.either ways boss lasts 5-10min max,so u really cant go out and watch a movie b:chuckle

    Just to say, people, don't call someone a troll when they are not. People have the right to express their opinion and suggest new things, sheesh <.<

    And on topic, Hercs are worth the cost if you like to solo stuff. There are some things you can only do with a Herc and no other pet. If you are ok with squading with others all the time and always being the "weakest" member of the squad (by that I mean, you can't tank but you don't do as much damage as another magic class would do either) Herc isn't necessary. Herc makes your game much better, and easier too. But not boring at all, as some people say, it's their opinion but a lot of people don't agree. I for one find psychics and assassins boring to play.
