Which type of pet do you prefer?

    Need moar categories, such as ranged or melee, amoung those listed, though, I would say attack, just in keeping aggro. Nothing depresses me moar then seeing a mob running at me with my pet chasing behind

    I choose physical defense because i like my pet not dying as often. i thought about the other categories but didnt think it would be really chosen

    Agree with WorryEasykil
    Need more category like : ranged, attack speed, move speed.
    (i guess there no need to mention melee because most pet is melee anyway)

    Well for usual mob killing i chose pet with high attack speed. (but with decent attack)
    On instance i pick those with high hp and high magic def or phy def, depend on the boss.
    Or DPS pet when the one tanking is other player.

    But from all type, i pick DPS (attack speed) type as my favorite. b:laugh
    If i can i will pick the decent looking one . .

    QQ If i did Crazy stone at 3x AND not 6x, i had been lvl 105 now!
    Didnt know about Bh/CrazyStone before lvl 6x LOL

    Don't care. Whatever the best tank is. Or almost the best --- still using the Crystalline Magmite, as the Glacial Walker didn't seem sufficiently better to warrant levelling one.

    So it's more about the job, not how it's achieved. I really don't care whether it's HP or defense.
    Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng

    Pretty much all that matters to me is 'Tank', hence high HP/P.Def. Venos have v.strong attack so Pet need not waste any time worrying about attacking

    Well of course all Pet wish they were a Herc but sadly they can't. GW is the coolest Tank. b:laugh

    for me a veno is a debuffer so i dont care about the whole healer and tank pet idea.
    face it u cant tank frost or even if u can u will lose agro.
    so realise the tank is a BARBarian.

    venomancer is horrible dd class 2 boot without a pet u cant kill mobs without taking hits likem ost classes so again u wana we dd make a dd class.

    a venomancer is a mix nothing more.

    lastly my pets all on speed that all i care phenix and herc golem pets are all uglyb:laugh

    Remeber that pet do 100% dg on tt bosses, players do only 25%. so venos are good dd class if get a pet w hige dg and bleed. also venos can purfy. make pet/ppl do 20% more dg for some sec.
    -venos have low mag atk cuz they got pets.

    Attack pets. I love my ninetails fox. granted its attack isnt as high as my herc. The lvl 4 howl it comes with is nice for zooming through mobs like nothing.

    I think they have low matk because they buy into the vit arcane **** here. I'm often stealing aggro from wizzies, archers and clerics after they get a good head start. DPS isn't just related to matk either: Many of wizzie's spells take longer to channel than veno's.

    Clerics, Barbs, BMs, Wizzies, etc have debuffs: doesn't make them a debuffers. Infact theirs rivals ours. Barbs aren't the only good tankers in this game. I'd rather have a BM than a barb in FF, a pet tank for a World Boss, and mage classes are fine for fb59 bosses and such. Always using a Barb as a tank is a bit too simple minded for me and can be annoying. One example of annoying: 3rd boss in FF that spawns a dragon. Boss is [?], dragon is not. Some stupid barbs will stick to the [?] boss even if the dragon is hitting an arcane.

    +1 completely agree. In higher lvls vit isnt needed. vit-arcane build venos dont do enough damage.

    pure mage venos- nuke Nuke NUKE!
    heavy/arcane build veno- at least this one can do significant damage in foxform and human form
    light armor veno (yea worst for defenses i guess) - crit Crit CRIT? lol

    All vit venos do is try to nuke and do about the same magic damage that i do as a heavy/arcane build veno.
