DEMON&SAGE clerics in duels

Hello i was wondering on witch path i should take i'm a dueling cleric i love to duel but at the same time i dont mind supporting a squad. i was wondering on wich playing style is better for me i was going to go sage but it only increases the power on my physical moves while demon increases on my metal skill wichi think is better also. I like sage spark better because of the extra def. So is a sage cleric better in a duel than a Demon clerici cant decide...

    I wouldn't think to much about dueling when deciding this more so when it comes time to squad up.What do you do more in a squad is what you need to ask yourself?What I mean by that is are you more supportive or more offensive.

    A Demon Cleric is just as good as a sage cleric when it comes to supporting roles. Its not neccessarily the skills which enhance you; its the experience of playing cleric which will determine your success in PvP/PvE.

    I chose Sage because I find my role lies primarily in supporting, I would find the extra 10% Heal on Sage IH nifty should I be supporting tanks in TW. But, I dont lack in attack power.

    Bear in mind that Demon Wield Thunder is a rare skill, and you could find yourself needing between 20~30 mill to buy the book. That, and its a 99 skill. But hey. Its not like its that hard to hit 99 these days.

    You've got time to choose, and the option to change if you don't like your choice.

    I went demon mostly because of the spirits gift buff demon skill (raises mag attack by 150% for 10 secs) and a few other skills that work well for pvp but for a support cleric sage is the way to go

    personally i chose sage, demons nice and all, but i like sage skills. more support, but im good at grinding and soloing, but sage skills will make it much easier for me to grind. rez makes u rez some1 from 40 meters away. purify's cooldown and channeling are decreased, ih gives more healing, u get a skill that lets u get 50 chi instantly. but demon is nice too, depends what your willing to spend on skills xD demons more common on heavens tear vs. sage. so demon books r more expensive

    I would have thought demon was better for you if you loved duelling+ didnt mind support. In a duel demon slightly better than sage and for support there's really very little difference imo.

    But dont be too concerned because you're able to change demon <--> sage. ^^

    If you go demon path, which I recommend for someone who fights other players a bunch, you might want to find a way to compensate for the support loss sage has. With my channeling, which is what I did to make up for the lost support, I can actually out- power a sage IH.

    i duel very rarely, but i can tell that:
    chi skill is really useful
    love sage vanguard when battling veno in foxform
    i can actually feel the difference between lvl 10 ih and sage ih
    metal mastery - another immediately visible effect, cyclone and plume are nice too and easy to get :)
    want wield thunder... yes, demons bonus is better but sage isnt bad, and lvl 11 is stronger than 10 anyway
