Hey guys, i'm from South East Australia, and during the day here, i can play fine, its just a pitty i have school during the day and other commitments, but at night, i get HUGE lag, and i have no idea why?
Any HElp as to how to diagnose and fix the problem?b:sad

    Well, you are in Australia, which adds the distance thing.

    Plus in your time zone at night, during prime time hours (roughly 7-10pm+), is when most people are getting online to wind down the end of their day for entertainment which clogs bandwidth for many people.

    Within 4-6 time zones west and north of you, you have almost 2/3 of the population of the planet going into their prime times, thankfully not all of them have internet access. But it does contribute to the slower speeds.

    It comes down to the limits of your ISP, and the ISPs in between dealing with all of the traffic. See if you can get better connection, or a better plan from your ISP.

    Try our other servers too, and see if you get a better ping.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    k, as much as what i expected, and my ISP is fine seeing as i play comeptitive Call of Duty 4, i think its just the distance/Peek Hour thing, thx guys, its mainly just on the weekends at night that i can't play so i'll just have to get over that b:victory, thx Panda
