In guides i always hear person's say if your broke go with tiger form for tanking..okay but im wondering if it makes a difference. Does the weapon break any faster? any slower?

Repair costs/durability is due to the NUMBER of hits that you receive. It does not factor in damage that you take. For weapon, Im assuming its the number of hits you do as well.0

ohh okay i understand ^^0 -
I think you mean if you're broke, go tiger when solo questing, at least that's what I've read in guides, and that is because tiger form has higher defense and skills cost less mp than humanoid form, and that saves pot costs.
And also at lvl59 tiger form gets a self-heal while humanoid gets an obliteration-skill.
And about armor breaking, it gets worn out when enemies miss too.0 -
Combine Qinzi and Glasgow and you have a complete answer.
And if Qinzi is right, about armour being worn out even when mobs miss...that's bizzare :P0 -
Try using Roar near any starter city, you'll notice it gets too worn out from the number of hits you recieve.0

What I tried and would recomend to any fellow barbarians is using +mp recovery gear with maxed-to-level feral regeneration for the following reasons:
1) you can literally spam your skills dealing more damage with less weapon usage, taking less hits overtime and therefore a smaller repair bill.
2) you will find yourself recovering about 80% of hp and mp spent killing one mob while you get ready (spot and position) to attack the next one.
3) after several mobs you will be able to recover totally with a very short meditation break leaving pots only for emergencies, bosses or npc'ing/trading when you are able to start using higher grade pots.
Bottom line, go to the auction house and make an INVESTMENT in a Sorcerer's Pearl necklace, a Bones of the Dead belt and some arcane hat with +mp (better if it has slots and more random stats adding vitality and/or physical defense and/or +hp). BTW, if you are 59+ get a Nature's Breath necklace instead of the Sorcerer's Pearl one.0 -

Even better, get a cleric with Demon IH0
