Do I have to download the patch?

I dont know if I should download the patch, one my mum wont let me and if I suck up the internet again my step dad will kill me... is the game still playable without having the updated patch?

    Nope... All clients need to be up to date to in order to connect to game servers. Thus is the nature of MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) games...

    The patch isn't that big. It took me 2 minutes to download it, just right now.

    oh okay... my mums just worried about it sucking up the internet... grrr i wana play...

    your parents are worried about the internet usage and i do understand that, i can suggest u go get a freewear bandwith monitor i use something done by rokario. gives day by day logs, incomming and out going. and then u can show ur mom just how much you use.

    on a basis of me playing all day i can use about 6 - 16mb... which is not all that bad at all. and this patch seems to be about 16mb - pls note that is with me playing round on the net and stuff while the patch is having fun so its a bit less

    and enjoy playing :P
