    I got my herc for~45m. Compare that to endgame pack gear: lunar ring for 50m, lunar weapon for 60m, lunar wing trophy 70m, etc. Given the option between herc or -int sin, the herc veno is obviously much more realistic (affordable).

    (well since that was cleric specialty VS poison mob that no other class have)
    Telling herc to bramble then gather melee mob is one way of aoe that only veno do. b:bye
    Able to heal your own tank is pretty nice -_- especially the tank always follow what you say.

    just killed brigand in under 5 mins without wine, without a squad, and without a charm, hows that for efficiency?

    Venomancers aren't efficient at anything. They may be able to solo certain instances and bosses earlier than other classes, but they will never do it efficiently.

    It still takes me 40 minutes to solo FB79 with wine.

    I went from level 1 to 56 with my veno completely solo without a herc. I solo HH 1.1 to 2.1 squad mode several times daily with my herc making 3 to 6 million a day. No messy mat fights between squad members, no begging for barbs or clerics and no sharing mats. Some call me greedy but **** them. As much as I paid for my herc I deserve it. Hell, I even solo'd my tabbed FB 79 and my spiritual quests.

    So what if it takes a while to kill the bosses. It takes even longer to beg others for help for HH or other quests. Being this much self sufficient is worth the extra time it takes for me to do what I do.

    Yeah, Venos rule in the solo sense I believe.

    First of all, why would a veno attack multiple mobs that does poison? b:surrender
    Bramble will still work if the mobs do physical damage to the pet asides from poisoning the pet.

    Poison mobs are a cleric's best friend. My cleric can handle about 20 of them (Orchid Petallis) and still survive with purify. While a veno can kill multiple mobs that does physical damage with a pet where a cleric would not survive.

    In my own opinion, venos are much more efficient when it comes to soloing (as you can pretty much solo a lot of bosses) compared to other classes due to pet assistance.

    I'd say barb would be a good solo class due to its high HP and defense. Plus tiger form's speed. b:dirty

    ...Damage-wise, I'd say play a Wizard or Psychic.

    1st: my post wasn't for you, it was for the one who created the thread and any1 else who have been said or may be thinking that venos can solo everything just because we say venos are the solo class.

    2nd: yes, clerics can be better against poison mobs, and any class is good since u learn how to play it correctly, i was saying venos are better soloers if u don't want to spend pots (regeneration skills, ability to attack less if you are running out of mp cause the pet can kill a mob on it's own since you heal when necessary and heal costs really few mp). btw this point is for every1 (it's not directly for you since you must already know this :p)

    i hope i have been clear enough for every1 who has the same doubt as the person who created the thread.

    1 more thing, maybe out of topic (sorry): you will never solo the intire game, so play the class you like more, learn how to use it correctly and you will be able to do lots of stuff you need.

    Thank you all for your answers. I received more than I thought I would.

    I will probably just end up playing both classes as they both are interesting to me. As for spending money, it's not gonna happen. I can't afford to spend money here. Kinda the whole reason why I went with a free game.

    no need ;D when pwi stuff told this was a REALLY free to play game they ment it. you just need to work harder if you don't wanna waste real money in a game, but nothing is impossible to get in pwi without real cash (and that's where the fun is in my opinion) ;D

    I don't know, maybe it has something to do with the fact that people are too busy doing their dailies that it's really hard to find those with the same goal as you?

    [rolls eyes back] I, for one, just don't like squading or teaming up unless it's necessary, or I know them previously. It's nothing against them, since it usually means less EXP and coins for me. With Faction-mates, I'm much more willing to be a part of it.

    It all comes down to preference, dude/dudette.

    EDIT: @ OP: Personally, I like my Veno more, it's easier to solo, for me. I love my assassin, but I haven't been able to do the quests at the level I'm at, which is probably my fault since I tried to keep all the stats fairly evenly at first. :/

    btw i forgot to tell (my bad): the "don't use mp pots or powders" is about my gameplaying style, i only use these on dungeons and bosses. sorry :p

    besides, as some1 said, venos r good soloers cause of their flexibility. clerics won't quest always killing poison mobs... they will be asked to kill every kind of mob, so will the other classes. the creator of the thread asked "which 1 is easier to solo" and not which 1 is better to grind or which 1 can solo (cause all classes can solo something better than others). so yh, even if the OP made his/her choise already i have to say to the ppl who r reading this thread and have the same doubt: veno is probably the best soloer, but stop playing it if u don't like it (this is a mmo so, as i said before, no1 can completly solo it, so better play the class u like the most ^^).

    u can solo pretty much with any class on open worldmap, not on dungeons tho,

    take wiz for example, lure the boss to a spot where u can jump down and up some kinda cliff where the boss has to walk around. while he walks u hit him, when hes getting to close, jump down and continue to attack(same for archer) and up again.

    soloing just takes a lil bit brain on most classes. but its possible.
