Hotkeys not functioning

Hello,

Perhaps a newbie question... Trying this game out for the first time and the hot keys on the quick bar will not function at all - neither from my keyboard or numpad on my mouse. Mildly annoying because I have to click the skill icon each time to activate. Everything looks to be mapped as it should, I've restarted, force login, etc. Is there an obvious fix or do I need to reinstall?

Suggestions?

    Try verifying if that doesn't work get the latest drivers for your keyboard.
