So the Army can not play?

My friend is in the army and lives on a US military base that is in korea, and of course I know that you block all ip addresses from korea. What exactly is the point of this? I am curious if there is any way he can log into perfect world? He can NOT read korean. We do not know what to do. So does this just mean he does not get to play? :(

    This isn't really a problem of PWE.

    The reason PWI is blocked in Korea is they have their own version. And that's it.

    Look, i am not ****. I know there is a korean version. The fact is that my friend is american and can not read korean, so i was merely asking if there was any way we could go around this so he could play. Obviously, it sounds like there is no way my friend gets to play, which in my opinion is kinda stupid. but oh well. Thanks for posting what i already knew.

    EDIT: For example, is there any way he can download a language pack somewhere that can alter the korean version so he can actually read what he is trying to play? We cant even figure out how to find the download link to install the game because we can not read the website -_-

    Um....for the site use Google translator on it.


    As for a language pack...go to the PWI website help site and search "Language pack" a link should come up in the results for a english language patch.

    Thank you very much. We will give that a try and see if we can get it to work. Hopefully google translate works, sometimes it does not translate correctly lol.


    EDIT: After messing with it for awhile, my friend sent me a message and told me that it is just not worth it if he can not play on the same server as me. This is unfortionate that the armed forces can not play while they are across seas. Thanks for trying to help. On a seperate note, where are the all the mods and admins? o.0
