UPDATED:The current setting allows you to show that you are seeking members, and even search through which class etc. However this only covers in a small radius of the area you are currently in.

Proposing an update to this which will be a collective source across the server for all searching for squads. A table would be laid out ex:

Upon clicking one of the sections, a drop down is made available for Twilight Temple. instances, FB types, and Rebirth level ranges.

Frost Covered, and Lunar Glade, will simply skip ahead to the add me to list portion.

Once selected, you're character's name, class, and level will be placed within a new tab
similar to a waiting list.

At first this will simply show random people on the front page, possibly by time entered.
Upon selecting the "Class" link, a drop down menu will appear with the option to filter
through the various classes.
(The selections here will work just as listing does in Guild menu sorting.)

From here players can right click to open the usual menu of PM,Invite to squad, etc..
Saving large amounts of time for those in need of certain areas of the game which
will allow them to accomplish group tasks much quicker and easier.

Just for your consideration, please no rants about bug fixes etc, we all know the bugs
need fixing, this is simply a suggestion for "New/Update" content.

As to whether or not the feature would have to be used via cash shop item would
ultimately be up the the developers as they may feel as though they are losing
money over telecoustics not being in use for finding squads.

1) x amount of hours usage of squad finder, 3-12 hour range ~~~~~ edited 5/16
2) one week item which allows for unlimited use during that time frame.

    A perfected structured suggestion, good job. Would be cool to see suggestions served on a silver plate like that more often.

    To the topic, I think that's a cool idea. Would make things much more easier... but would be probably really realised as cash shop item D: Based on this:

    I like the idea, since it gets boring to look for GV squads, and not only that, but as well, chat rooms get messy.

    I've played games where they had something like this. It worked ok for that game, so i think its a good idea.

    This is actually a really great idea. Full support lol.

    And it wouldn't affect tele sales too much, at least on Lost City most of the World Chat seems to be either sales, or just random chatter. I don't think the maybe 1/10th or so of teles lost will affect their business too much.

    I like this idea but I'm not so sure about the drop down menus. Wouldn't it make the whole thing very cluttered? And what if someone was looking for 2 or more of those things (eg TT or FB)?

    How about just make the list sortable by class and level, and give everyone the ability to create their own comment that shows when they're viewed on the list? Not sure if that would work though, since it would be blatant plagiarism of another MMO I've played before.

    Yea, however most MMO's tend to feed off each others development anyway.

    was thinking something along the lines of

    Class, Name, Level, then abbreviations afterward for which instances

    ex: upon opening the selection you'd see something like this

    The drop down occurs within the same window and is only a temporary. So it ends up within it's own little box to be selected through. (edit) overlay box (floats on top)

    Excellent idea. I've played other games with a similar idea. Unfortunately those were all Pay to Play games. This is the type of thing PWI specifically avoids, because it lessens the needs for World Chat. As such, it not really a "PWE greed" thing but their basic model of business of encourage need for cash shop items without forcing it. So while i'd enjoy the feature, it'd be similar in idea to introducing botting (in that it'd remove a large desire for hypers and esoterica cash shop items since you could just gain XP in your sleep).

    I don't think this would really lessen the need for WC. If EVERYONE is using this feature, I'm sure people will still want to WC so that they become more obvious than everyone else on the list.

    This cuts into profits from selling teles. You need to somehow incorporate cash shop items for this idea to have a chance.

    Already covered in the first post. I have no say in how they would chose to go about it. If I did and it was to be a cash shop item, then I would base it on 2 separate items.
    1) x amount of hours usage of squad finder, 3-12 hour range
    2) one week item which allows for unlimited use during that time frame.

    The item itself would be a click to use and give a timer similar to esoterica/hyper. The time itself, to keep the player base happy would not dissipate while offline.

    It cannot be an item movable from/into the inventory as the only place available would be the one for cat shop skins which would in turn decrease sales.

    I remembered having this feature on another game, though they've included it because they do not have a feature such as world chatting and could only find members in town chat or the chat area where you are at.

    I also see the point where not many people have WC turned on and that's where the horns had been issued a few weeks back, but turned out not many liked it.

    I support this find squad feature, or at least something close to it because some of the classes are really difficult to find at certain times of the day.
