Demon/Sage skill question

I am sure there is a page some where, I just do not have the time to search for it that being said.

Any one have a link or can give me some insight as to what the real %'s are on the skills you get from the 50 Mysterious page trade in for the random skill books? I have the link for http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/quest/10107
and it is not accurate. I have opened 27 Demon barb books now and have yet to get the HP buff. Which is fine, just looking for any info as to what kind of odds I/We players of PWI are really up against. Thanks for any insight.

    I have the same link...you may of missed the question. I am not asking where they drop but what % people have seen other than the , what I feel is not so correct, info on pwdata base. I was asking about the Mysterious Pages trade of 50 for 1 Demon barb skill book which you can get 1 of 9 skills.

    I did not post in Barb section due to the fact IF other classes have similar skills that are less than 10% chance to get that would give me a better idea. Any additional info greatly appreciated.

    out of the cleric skill books i opened i got :
    1 revive
    3 Iron heart
    3 Magic Shell
    1 Vanguard
    3 Thunderball
    1 Metal Mastery
    1 Elemental Seal
    1 Wellspring
    0 Plume Shell

    Fairly even really.

    so far veno books have been 1 amp, 2 melee mastery 1 wood mastery but its not a large sample size to really judge

    Chance to open 27 books and not get Beast King's Inspiration is 5.8%. So your experience is not that improbable.

    I've gotten 2 Frost Scarab, 1 Bramble Guard, 2 Befuddling Mist, 1 Purge, 1 Melee Mastery, 2 Wood Mastery, 1 Metabolic Boost. Seems pretty random to me.

    @Solandri --Would you mind sharing the formula you used to get 5.8%? Still early here, but tried crunching some numbers to get the 5.8% and not really sure what equation or formula you used. Never mind still half sleeping, but there was a 94.2% chance I should of gotten with opening 27 books by your calculations correct?

    9/10 chance you will NOT get the one you want.
    2 tries and not get it is 9/10 x 9/10
    3 tries and not get it is 9/10 x 9/10 x 9/10

    etc etc until you get to....
    27 tries & not get it = 9/10 x 9/10 x 9/10................27 times = 5.8%

    I see.....Bad luck on my part I suppose. Well thanks for all the replies, will try again perhaps on the same day I win the lottery or something ^^

    With all of those spare demon barb books, you should be able to sell them, and with the profits just buy the one you need. b:laugh

    Well that is what I am shooting for. I would of just bought it in the first place, but for 6-7 weeks now I have not even seen one. I have WC and used horns and got no reply. Check auction 2-3 times daily. Check majority of cat shops. I would just prefer that, but no luck even seeing one. i was not talking about the coin about when I said winning the lottery, I was meaning the luck it takes to win lol.
