    Both are typical asian style clothings. Heck, following that idea, I could say that the Camo set is a rip-off of army clothes, Dress Jacket is a rip off of formal wear, Ballroom Dress is a rip-off of a ballroom dress, Bikini set is a rip-off of bikinis, etc.

    The exact design and details will always be based off some real life counterpart, but that real life counterpart is usually a common style of dress/etc. The Chipao shown in your picture is traditional Chinese ceremonial wear while the Lolipop dress shown in your picture is just one of those typical Japanese loli dresses.

    I went through a few anime pics on a website i regularly go to for material, and in a bout 10-20mins id already found 2 identical clothing rip offs

    From what I've been hearing PWE has made a lot of cash over the last couple years, they'd have to be sued for quite a bit.

    The majority of fashion available on PW are based on historical or modern day fashion trends, and so are the costumes in most fanart pieces. Take a stroll down central Akihabara - I'm sure you'll find plenty of fashion pieces that PWE "ripped off" or were "ripped from" PWE.

    You can't easily claim a patent or even ownership of specific fashion designs and chances of you being able to uphold an anyhow feasible case in court is next to none.

    PWE didn't rip off anyone, they just based fashion on trends and historical clothing. Go say that all fashion in PW is ripped off then.
