How to Split Stacks

Alt + Click to split stacks...

Anyhow, long story short, nothing in this beginner's guide here about splittings so here's the super tip to know how to do it. Yea... made me search like 30 mins just to find out how to do it.
Position: Professional Forum Troll
Position Details: Be able to incite people to flames and perform miracles such as telling people what's right and what's wrong. Be able to dish out flames to other people so fire extinguishers are needed to put out the flames. Most of all, giving others a piece of reality.

    anyone know how to do this in Linux? Alt+Click/Drag just drags the window.

    It should say so when you hover over the common items icon in the inventory (leftmost orange bag).

    How do you set up a cat shop?
    Tell Eos we tried ... but sniper on stone crusher.

    Actions (e) 'consignment shop' (second or third row down, next to 'trade')

    Give the shop a name, drag in the stuff you want to sell, set prices, drag in the stuff you want to buy (yes, you need to have something if you want to buy more), set prices and number wanted, hit confirm, leave your client logged in and wait for people to buy/sell.

    Did you ever figure out how to do this?

    Not being able to split stacks is driving me crazy!

    Tell your linux window manager to not use that irritating shortcut. Alt+drag is the control PWI uses, the problem is your end.

    You could also try to fool the window manager --- use something like SHIFT-ALT-Drag for PWI. PWI doesn't seem to care, and it really depends on how the window manager treats the modifier list (i.e. whether "ALT" just means "ALT plus anything", or "ALT and nothing else").

    SHIFT-ALT doesn't work, but CTRL-ALT does!

    Once had like 13 Complete Sacks, and a friend only needed 1... So I had to give him all of the sacks :(
