Demon/Sage

I only care about solo pvp....and maybe group pvp

I don't really care about pve or TW
So which path should I take?

And yes....I have already read the ecatomb things....and some of the demon/sage threads......but for pvp which one is better.....demon or sage?

    Meh, for a long time I thought Demon was the way to go, but then I got some opinions from Sage and even Demon Wizards, looked up on ecatomb, decided what I really wanted and this is what came out:
    Sage:
    - Always has chi;
    - Unleashes the most powerful skill in whole game;
    - Masteries give 5% more dmg;
    - FoW, one of our best save skills, turns to a small AoE;
    - Stone Rain gets faster
    - Dragon's Breath can be used in celestial form on AoE runs.

    Demon:
    - Has cool nukes like Pyro, Stone Rain DPyro and GSnare;
    - Distance Shrink has upgraded distance;
    - Hailstorm is actually useful;
    - Stone Barrier is awesome.

    And as a DDer and PvPer, I'm going sage, unless I get bored of this game before 89 lol.

    Demon also has faster channeling right? And that's a huge problem for pvp


    But wow the most powerful skill in the whole game....that's gotta be good

    Once you hit lvl 8x mark you will know which path suits you.

    It's a personal choice of every wizard.

    Yeah Demon Spark is powerfull, way more than Sage. I once saw a Lv. 100 Wizard doing 85% channel reduction with Demon Spark only (Faking -Chann Gears b:angry) so yeah, I'll quote myself what I said in another thread, it's like a faking Sutra on Crack b:shocked.
    And meh, I'm getting close to 85 now and I can barely find people for frost so fak that, once Forsaken World is on it's BYE BYE pwi b:bye

    85channel with spark on PWI...hmmmm... I don't know of any wizard on PWI with so much stacked channel. I know some that are around 50%, but Demon Wellspring and Spark don't stack, so I don't see how they got to 85%. That means they have a regular -60% channel. Congrats to their CC.
    I'm not saying they don't exist, I'm saying there might be one...and that's pretty much it. Going for -channel just cripples a class that doesn't have a good def anyways since -channel comes from elemental ornaments mainly. That's why most wizards are going for crit endgame...most, not all.

    and yeah, PWI is pretty much a dead game. GMs and Devs are working on BoI and Forsaken World. As far as could figure out, Forsaken World is basically the next generation of PW. PW is the past, Forsaken World is the future of PWE.

    Unfortunately FW will probably become like PWI. MEH, at least we'll have treasure chest digging, professions, we can change the world and the gods will be actually smart. YES, smarter than you and you and you too b:cool
