Question for Nirvana Refine and Socket Transfer

... Is there any sort of guide on how many chienkung stones it costs to keep 4 sockets on my Lunar Pants when recasting and quenching to Nirvana?

Do I have to use them TWICE to keep the refines and sockets through both stages?

    Yes. The only time you may keep refines, sockets and stones without the Chienkun stones is during the Reforge process.

    It's not worth the stones, just create the pants, quench them and wait till the next orb sale.

    Lol, I don't care about my refine loss, but it would be nice if I could keep the 4 sockets for good shards, apparently I'm told it's like a ridiculous amount to keep them, like OVER 9000

    If you have a 2 socket TT99 weapon, can you use these stones to make your nirvana weapon keep both sockets?

    It seems nirvana need less stones than PW agent. My +8 weapon needs 150 to transfer at PW agent. Someone was saying a +8 at Nirvana costs three times less or more.

    Bump! I'm about to make my -interval leggings and I want to know how many stones to keep 4 sockets. and if it would cost less stones if I used 4 shabbies.

    It costs much less to retain sockets than to add them again after quench.

    Also, TT equip has an advantage over Lunar in the sense that (full) socketing cost much less.

    So if I am reading that right. It will cost me 53 stones to keep my 4 sockets from tt99 -> Interval Nirvana pants? or 53x2? or 53 for the recast, then 213 for the quench b:surrender?

    TT99 gold is G12, so 53 stones to retain the 4 sockets during recast.

    recast Nirvana is G15, so 213 stones to retain the 4 sockets during quench.

    You do realise this is an awesome deal right?

    It costs 16,000 socket stones to get a 4th socket on nirvana armour.

    Hmm which would I rather have... 1 or 2 sockets on my pants vs 100m coin spent on refines, or gear... this is suuuuuch a tough choice.

    If you consider 100m to be a large sum, then perhaps you should stick to TT99.

    In any case, you would do well to transfer all 4 sockets - otherwise later on you'll feel like an idiot when you spend nearly 2x the amount of cash to get them (per piece).

    Yeah pretty much,
    i needed around 160 stones to keep the 3 sockets from recast->reforge, didnt spend it and ended up with 4 sockets \o/

    BTW: nirvana has different socket chances than ordinary gear, in this case you have a 80% chance it comes out with 3 sockets, which is awesome.

    the stone on that site is diffected on PWI,better to chek is bring uncanny/rapture to the froge and click to start cast/reforge and it will ask you 3 question for keep ssocket/shard/refine then you will know how many chiekun stone u need for it.

    I kinda wonder tho. Lets say i have 2 socket Lunar pants/top with 2 savant stones.

    If i use chienkun to keep my shards - will my Nirvana pants auto become 2 socket O_O

    Or can they be 3-4 sockets with 1-2 free slots?

    IF i remember correctly it was a chain question.
    When you say "no" to socket transfering you cant put a "yes" on shard transfer
