What's so great about archers? o.O

Yup, I made an archer once, quit at level 1. But i'm beginning to think I was too impatient. I need to know what's so awesome about archers that I should make one. I have a character in all the other classes, but the archer.
They are cool because they're snipers. They have a knockback skill (or more).
But on the other hand, they're squishy, don't have any self-heal skills (that I know of).
So please give me your views. Thanks. b:thanks

    In my little experience as an archer, I have to agree. We're pretty average. Light armor, not good for defending against anything, not bad for defending against everything. We have physical and magic attacks, the mage's are higher, etc...

    But if your looking for something so go through the game PvE only, takin' it easy, Archer is the right class.

    phh yeah excluding lvls 20-43 were u cant do ****...

    i got the lvl 22 mold bow +5 on my archer and its still a pain...

    why cant they put that damn lvl 30 mold in the game...
    Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.

    Well to give my 2 cents, I think archers are extremely fun, even if they are squishy as hell. Honestly, with little refines, not many shards & some vit points (from armour of course, i put no points in vit myself), i have 2k-ish HP. With just a frost arrow & one knockback, I use maybe one potion every 3 mobs.
    No they don't have any self heals so that does suck, but honestly if you are the familiar in the art of kiting & have lv'd up Stun Arrow and lv 1 knockback, you shouldn't have a big problem, and if you do, just click a potion.
    Anyway, you can't just decide a class sucks at lv 1. All classes suck at 1-30 IMO; stupid quests til lv 19, then the lv 19-30 quests can kiss my pixelated ****. I mean how many idiots can Aroma meet before she tells them Spot is a cat not a dog? /endrant

    Honestly I didn't want to be an archer and roll'd a fist BM instead (Basically same thing only cooler :D) but then she got boring and being an archer is a change of pace, I guess. I think it's just nice to be able to pewpew things from far away & double barrage things in BH51 with Haxxz >_> b:cute

    Oh and it's just so damn awesome that at lv 65, you're stealing aggro from wizards and sins and have a crit rate of 16%. Well, that's not really that awesome if you think about it but whatever. I <3 archers.

    What's great about archers is that if you commit to "The best defense is a good offense." you can really make that work for you as an archer (with the exception of high-level PvP). The only other class I've found this to be true for is psychic.

    Nothing will beat the HA wizard wielding either a +10, or +12 mirage sword. Think first posts on forum had it at +10, later got +12ed.
    Fist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. Go here if you want to debate about it. - Lyndura

    Get a High lvl Fist warrior use it, Restat to axes. GG - complexx

    Hmmmm, I see....I think I may just make one and take my time leveling it, as yall seem to be hinting that's what happens anyways...

    Yeah. We may whine and complain a lot, but it's still a pretty fun class to play. That's what it comes down to in the end after all, whether or not you're having fun.

    +1 .. i have a lot of nonsense alts...but in the end, i love my archer and can never re-roll. i love the afks i do in dungeons. b:chuckle

    I see...by the way I did make my archer. She's a babe +.+ ...and I liked archers because they were snipers, so let's see how things go. She's level 3 now X3

    Once you're +11 You are a challenge for almost all classes.
