pvp @ endgame

I am planning to return to this game, and I wanna be the best pker(or at least one of the best).

I am planing to spend loads of $$$$$ on my character since I finally sorted out my job...so I am capable of getting very good gear and high refines. b:victory

So I can be considered as a hardcore cashshopper....however I will learn how to play whatever class I choose correctly(that, I promise)


I am planing to reach lvl 101 or 102 and then focus on my equipment/gear.

I was originally planning to choose an assasin, but then I heard that demon spark speed will be nurfed, and that 3rd spark removes stealth....so I'm not so sure anymore.


In summary:

- My main focus in this game is endgame pvp

- I am capable of getting high refines and excellent gear

- I am ready to spend lots of money on my character

- I don't wanna reach endgame and spend loads of cash only to think "dammit if only I chose a different class" I want no regrets






So

What class would you recommend for me...and why would you recommend that class?

    Depends on your play style. Pick whatever class you like. If you can put enough money into gear, it doesn't matter what class you pick. So the important thing is to play whichever class YOU like, not the class someone else likes.

    Wizard or archer (I'm personally leaning towards wizard). Highest damage output classes, capable of 1-2 shotting pretty much everything except end-game barbs, the tank class (wizards have a much better chance of doing so though). Wizards are also capable of achieving very high physical defence with their earth-barrier self-buff. Archers are relatively more squishy, but their damage is physical and so meant to kill the other squishy classes (i.e. faster kills and more targets generally).

    If I had to choose between those two...I would probably choose wizard :D

    Irrelevant, really. Either get ready to spend an upwards of $1000 or have a 24/7 catshop on for 6 months. Class itself is completely a nonexistant factor. Every class can **** every class, as long as they have uber refines (+10 and up) and celestial skills. Just choose the one you find coolest.

    I swear, never again playing an mmo with a refine system AND a cashshop XD

    Pvp in this game would be EPIC if there were no refines. Just farm the best gear you can and pew pew on equal grounds. Getting two shot by a credit card sucks haha.

    Okay.....

    Now I narrowed down my choices...

    I took Tideborn out of my list... as well as clerics and venos

    So now I have to choose between..

    Wizard Barbarian Archer Blademaster

    I'm planning to spend lots of money,effort, and time learning how to play this class and becoming a pro pvper

    Which one of these is GENERALLY considered best @ endgame......for pvp

    Also personal opinions are welcome....

    How much are you willing to spend? $800 will make you able to refine one single piece of equipment to +6 only. You need like $2800 to get it to +12, and that's only one piece. Also, of course, you need a good equipment to start with.

    There's so many better things to spend $800 or (lol!) $2800 on.

    Every class has its own advantages and plays a different role. You kinda need to decide what you want to be amazing at. So for instance, first BM's are disgusting in 1v1's.. I've watched one kill a barb with well over 20k hp in tiger.. with turtle on (I really dunno how that happened). On top of ridiculous DPS, using marrows and whatnot let them "specialize" against who they are fighting and makes them a pain in the **** to take down. If you were more interested in TW, you'd still need to narrow that down a bit. Obviously barbs are the only class to pull catas.. so that might be fun. Wizards are great for one shotting a group of people, archers are amazing at quickly killing single targets and moving on to the next. It just comes down to personal preference, there really isn't a "best" class.

    I don't think money is a problem in my case....I'm expecting all my gear to be +12.

    However I have read many threads about ppl not learning how to play their class....so I'm determined not to make that mistake.

    I know there are better things to do with my money....and that's why if I end up spending my money on this game I don't want any regrets ;)

    well I'm starting to think this is some kind of troll.. but if you are going all +12, imo you'd be better off as a wizard. The strong point of a barb is survivability, but even a wizard with +12 gear would have an insane amount of survivability (so solo pvp you'd be close to invincible on either character. The real advantage of a wizard is just being ranged, and more AoE attacks. The barb would likely just be chain immobilized/kited or have every target run, where a wizard would have a better chance of killing people. Obviously having lots of AoE's is nice because you can attack/kill several people at the same time =]

    I'd say wizard or barb. With a Wizard you can kill a lot with a barb you can tank a lot then kill.
