1 bh a day = never going to happen, AND a bad idea given we've had 3 a day for so long.

un-wineable instances is also a completely horrible idea, and it's based off of idea number 1, which is a fail in logic.

re-locating some of the npcs would be a good idea. the area a bit north of the pet manager in west/north arch is completely empty and a waste of unused space, so it'd be a good spot to put the bh guy and the attendance lady. that platform is just way too small a space.

I don't get everyone's beef with BH. What's the big deal if it awards a lot of EXP?

Look, last time I played was before BH's and Tideborn and genie's existed. I got to level 62 but then quit. Why? Because I knew leveling after level 62 would take too much time. I'm a law student so my studies take priority, and there's not enough time to hit a decent level and study under the old system.

Came back after I heard about the genie system, because it sounded like a good idea that would add strategy and diversity to the game. Did my first BH at like 45 cause I simply didn't know about them, and holy **** I'm glad they're there. Now I can hit 89 without having to dedicate myself to the game: around level 75, a person can level up every 3-4 days if they do the dailys. Very reasonable, imo.

So I do NOT understand how some players get mad at other players "sliding by." We're not sliding by; we have **** to do. Does that mean we're not allowed to play a game without being doomed to be weak level 50's and below forever?

Having said that, I'm obviously against your ideas targeted at BH runs. I don't even like wining BH runs (BH runs alone mean you get less money than a grinder; paying for BH runs means you go broke), but you ideas have two results: BH is long and slow EXP. Why the **** would we want that?

Besides that, such ideas won't convince people not to shop in West Archosaur. If we want people to spread out, then spread the NPC's out. People are in west because west archosaur is where all the level 20's traffic. Good businessmen caught onto this and built there, and the others followed. Why do you think all the mat shops are in front of the blacksmith and not the tailor? Cause blacksmith is the hardest and most costly skill to level, and people caught onto this. My point is that changing BH quests will do VERY little to change the psychology of AFK shops. To move AFK shops, you need to focus on NPC location. (Location, Location, Location!)

How about they stick the Wine NPC in North so that the wine sellers stay in north? How about the PW agent (the one for tokens of luck) exclusively in the South district? Changes like those are how you spread out the public and reduce lag; NOT by making daily quests incredibly grueling and painful for very little reward.

As for people power leveling and not learning their class...

Seriously, get over yourself. It's a game. As I've said before, why should people be unable to play the game casually AND get to a high level just because you don't like ****ty party members? Listen, I wrote the thread on complaining about ****ty party members, but I'm still not gonna take measures to banish/hinder them from having any success in the game. Just learn how to notice and deal with an idiot player and learn to laugh at your bad parties instead of raging about them.

    Just my two cents.

That's the thing with this game. Nothing requires time investment anymore. At my level, I'm pretty sure if I did my 3 BH's a day, world quest, marriage quest and crazy stone, I can level every week. Doesn't sound very reasonable to me, having barely done anything and still being able to progress decently fast.

I suppose this is just me lamenting on the new generation of gaming. I do miss those days where I had to kill over 30 000 mobs to gain a level.

because some of us just want to be in a nice calm fun squad without having to babysit people. I work a full time job so i'm busy most of the day too. its not so much about people that know their class hindering those that dont but about people that dont know their class hindering those that do.

I'm a cleric so I think about this too. remember when a squad wipes the cleric loses 10x the exp everyone else does.

It's not just PWE, honestly. ALL gaming has gone down the easy road of no return. Remember those days we had limited continues, and your hours of work could disappear in a single bad jump? THOSE were games. When the only places to save were inns, or if you were smart, tents, which you could only use on a world map, none of this "Save Point before every God damned boss" **** you see in ALL games now? Now... there's no fun, no challenge, no sense of accomplishment. It's 65% animated cutscene, 25% non-animated cutscense, 9% travel, and 1% doing a damned thing... Where is the GAME in my game? If I wanted 40 hours of story, I'd read a series of novels....

no you dont. you miss the days EVERYBODY had to kill 30k mobs to gain a level
becasue, hey, you can still kill 30k mobs ;-)

btw, wow, great achievement hit 3 buttons 30k times
imho, bh is by far more challenging and actually requires some skill, some human intelligence and not the AI of a bot
