[Guide] Barbarian builds & tips
Perfect World Skills

Hello i'm new to barbarian i love the guide you have made and i understand it but i just want to ask a couple of questions since i'm (new to this game) xD.
=== Going For Balanced Tanker ===

I want to go for this build: Tiger (more defensive) + Demon (more offensive) = balanced

I wrote down a shorter version of your guide so it helps me understand what i want, i just want to know is this mini guide of mine correct to the "build i want":

== Tanker ==


Every 1/2 levels = + 1 to dex need 50/60 dex - Depending on Gear
Vit = all the way (aka spare attributes)
Str + dex = depending on what gear / weapons i want to use
The best to slot accuracy gems on your weapons and HP gems for your armors. +Vit and +Dex bonuses are nice too.


== Skills ==

Armageddon - Level 10 (wouldn't really worry about this skill until 75-80+)

Blood Bath - Level 10 ~ Fix Later

True Form - Level 3

Flesh Ream - level 10

Roar (aka Talk is cheap) - Level 10

Alacrity of the Beast - Level 7

ShapeShifting Intensify - Level 10

Frighten - Level 10

Sunder - Level 10

Axe + Hammer Mastery - Level 10

Invoke the Spirit - Level 1

Poison Fang - I Will See later

Devour -I Will See later

King's Inspiration (HP buff) - Level 10 = ASAP

Strength of the Titans (attack buff) - Level 10 = ASAP
=== My Questions ===

1, All of the skills that i have mentioned in the "skills" section, would it be okay to do it at that? make them those levels?

2, If any of the skills that i have mentioned are wrongly attributed please tell me.

3, Also If i forgot any skills/stats or anything, that should be in that list please do tell me.

4, Please Don't Use In Game Jargon / Acronyms since i'm new to this game.

    1) Yeah, you'll be able to use axe/hammers, according to what you've written down as your desired build :

    3) Yes, it's okay to level all your skills to level 1 just to see them in action. The skills listed in your desired skill level are relatively good. Although, considering you want to become a 'pure tiger barb', there's no need to level Armageddon.

    4) True form and 'tiger form' are the same thing; max level is 3.

    Just my opinions/advice. Not necessarily good advice, but whatever.

    As far as the 3rd one to train certain skills you need to train the previous skill in the tree first, so typically you will be training everything to atleast one.

    1. Yes, you can use Axes/Hammers.

    2. If you can't find Axe/Hammers for you current lvl, go with Poleaxe/Polhammer.

    3. Upgrade all of you skills as much as you can, in some situations, it's better to use human form instead of true form.

    4. Get Arma (Armageddon), that's all I can say.Even if you're going to be mostly tiger, a skill with damage capacity to bring god to earth is great. And get Alacrity to lvl 9, since at lvl 7 you can only interrupt some mobs' magics.

    5. You forgot 5 skills that comes to my mind right away, Invoke the Spirit, Poison Fang, Devour, Beast King's Inspiration (HP buff) and Strength of the Titans (attack buff).

    Poison Fang gives you an extra % damage in the form of wood damage, meaning it's useless against wood mobs, but great against earth mobs. HP and attack buffs are to be maxed, since they then give 30% extra HP and/or attack. Devour isn't really needed to be maxed since it costs a lot of chi that can be used for greater good, BUT, reducing enemies' physical defense by 50% at lvl10 is godsend.

    And Arma at a high lvl is great (at first I tried to make my barb so Arma would be as efficient as possible). At lvl10 it trades half your hp and mp for 4.0 damage+4000.
    Let's say a guy has 15000 hp and 1500 mp, that's:

    7500+750=8250.

    8250*4=33000.

    33000+4000=37000.

    I'm not sure if weapon attack is also calculated to that, but I think it has to be, otherwise it would be pretty consistent damage. And 37000 damage doesn't involve crit or Sacrificial Strike (trade 5%hp for double damage, also known as Zerk). And since you say you're going Demon, Arma will be doing 10% more damage.b:dirty

    lvl your buffs ASAP

    things like Armageddon and poison fang can wait till your your a higher lvl, devour lvl that as you please if you have enough spirit or money, max alacrity if you can with it maxed you will always interrupt bosses as soon as its cooldowned

    Don't really worry about bloodbath, lvl that last out of the buffs

    with the tiger form skills lvl up flesh ream as much as you can as that will be your agro skill but i guess you can live without it till lvl 40 atleast, you will start your first daily boss runs at that lvl

    Flesh ream was one of the first skills i finished upgrading first as its the main skill for tanking

    Pretty much... Max all your skills. main 4-5 to focus on after you have your passives maxed for your current level would be:


    Tiger:

    Flesh Ream (Self explainable)
    Alcarity (who cares about the timing, if you can't cancel with lvl11 or lvl 7 then practice makes perfect!)
    Devour (Nice debuff, increases threat level)
    Roar (Higher level comes with better results)

    Human:

    HP Buff
    Strength Buff

    Mighty Swing
    Bestial Onslaught
    Armageddon (wouldn't really worry about this skill until 75-80+)

    Other excellent skills to have but not important:
    Poison Fang
    Sunder
    Frighten

    A must:
    Invoke

    Those skills listed you should/will use the most.

    Personally I had all skills maxed from lvl1 to lvl100 as high as they would go except for a few demon skills.

    My EPIC Fail Demon Barb has 40k/48k HP and my stat points are as follows:
    VIT 552 STR 310 DEX 60! b:surrender

    You can have any hp you want.. max of around 48k (sage) with current level cap and shards available. if you've got the money. b:chuckle

    Just look at SteelStar's signature, it says he has 21k hp buffed in Tiger form

    I`d keep alacrity lvl 7, when you start hitting it right, you can just spam cd to cancle most bosses, till they start raging. At least I won`t lvl alacrity past 7 b4 I get demon one/somebody can tell me the adventages it has instead of leaving it to 7.

    And I have been leveling Poison Fang always when the cost has felt rather cheap, if you are going demon, max it at least when you get your demon true form as your tiger dmg reduction disappears = you wanna be in tiger just to DD, arma is exception, of course.

    About Blood Path, I rarely use it, unless I PK somebody and on those cases only if target class is Archer/Sin/BM(if I can`t seem to hit it). Still 1 Arma would prolly be better case than wasting hp for BP, at least if you have it leveled, which I haven`t due shortage of coins :(.

    And Devour, haven`t ever had the coins to really lvl it. Sure it`s great to have, but not a high priority, imo.

    Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.

    very nice guide thanks a lot everybody, but also

    Feral Regeneration does it regenerate when i fight or when i dont fight? lol should i max that to lvl 10 or just leave it to level 1? xd

    also what about Swell + garrote and stomp of the beasts?

    what sort of Barb skills should i max? lolz i know my tiger skills but barb? xD
