Genie Skills

Hi,

I want to know the skills i should learn in a genie, i currently have true emptiness and tangling mire.
I count in put Bramble Rage and Tree Of Proteccion, but donno what skill to put in last, i was thinking in solid shield or second wind.

What do u think?

EDIT: i wanna a skill to help tanking and grinding.

    I'd advise for alpha male or solid shield.

    Second Wind is ehhh....ToP is better at later levels.


    Cloud eruption is very nice for that extra chi boost for spamming flesh ream or sparking.


    Its a lvl 55+ skill though, but I say go for it. b:victory


    Alpha Male is nice for aggro control.

    Solid Shield is a nice "mini invoke the spirit".

    If u start a new genie what skills would u put in it for taning and grinding?

    Hmm True Emptiness' attack is based on the STR and VIT of ur genie.. while the attack of Bramble Rage is based on Dex.. So in order to have max attack on both these skills ur genie should be of a much higher level... So concentrate on True Emptiness (str and vit) and build ur genie to max those attributes.. Once they are maxed u can start investing in dex..

    Being a barb an str genie is great for us.. since solid shield is based on str.. solid shield is a great skill on ur genie...b:dirty

    no... genies don't depend on your class.

    My little guide to genie building:

    1. Level your genie and leave it alone
    2. Read skill descriptions, find one that does something you like
    3. Have you found that skill you like yet? If so, add the affinity (and only that much affinity) for that skill
    4. Once you've learned the skill, you will find out how to "stat" your genie - since the new skill description which appears when you mouse over the learned skills will tell you "for every XXX such and such happens". Thus, you add XXX points.

    You may find that you like more skills than you could possibly put on a genie - IE I don't think its possible to put both Bramble Rage and Occult Ice on the same genie. Thus you'll need to plan your affinities well if you intend to keep only one genie and to learn the "advanced" skills later on.

    I have 4 skills on my genie....(It is zeal btw).

    1)Earthflame for pulling.

    2)ToP for healing.

    3)Solid shield for well... Making a solid shield =p.

    4)alpha male for holding aggro aoe.

    I use tree of protection its very good for those times when ur out of pots and the cleric forgets to heal u in time it comes in very very handy for me.
    I like it rough so I hope your are ready for a fight...
