Perfect World phase out with Forsaken World?

As the title thread is, I am wondering whether PWI will gradually phase out Perfect world and move to solely Forsaken world, as Forsaken is pretty much a more advanced version of PW. And if PW is phased out, how will its players be treated or will those that played be left in the dust?

    Meh, I move around PWI's games. and to me it looks like FQ will be quite popular for some time, but after that it'll become like how PWI is today :/

    Meh, I might try Forsaken World.

    When I first heard of it I thought it was like PWI Part 2, but more focused on the Wraiths, having a Wraith class or something as you fight against Pan-Gu and the various races of PWI.

    I signed up for beta, but their screen shot section is very lacking, nothing really draws me in except maybe the couple of slightly different classes.

    I'm sure it'll have some hype when its first released, but I bet most people will stay at PWI that were here to begin with.
    Though I'm certain we will be left in the dust lol, such as it happens with all other F2P companies that release a bunch of random games.

    A lot of people thought that the minute another certain game came out like, a year or so ago (starts with A? o.o) that everyone was going to leave PWI for it. Yet here we are, still going strong as usual. I don't know, I think it's a bit early to make assumptions, but I am going to try out Forsaken World since it does look a lot different than PW in general.

    Is it going to fade out? Meh, we'll just have to wait and see...

    The fact that the censored game was P2P played a major role in that, but there was a ****ton of hype about it, and the situation got so bad that the game's name was censored and you'd be warned/banned for mentioning it. b:sweat

    I also signed up for FW beta. One thing that makes me sad is that you can't fly in that game. Thats one of the few things that made pwi great to me.

    That's one reason PWI really appealed to me above any other MMO I was looking at. The ability to fly.

    I downloaded and tried BoI, but I can't get over the limited camera angle, which makes click-to-move even more ridiculous because you don't have much of a screen to click on and I've adapted to all but ignoring the mini-map. It's a good thing auto-navigation was in place in BoI otherwise I'd have dumped it right away.

    I'll be playing FW during closed beta myself, if only because it seems to have a relatively wide range of classes. But I'm not going to say anything on a game before I've played it.

    This thread will probably be closed, but I'm definitely looking forward to trying FW because of the class diversity, and the chance it will be a bit less cash shoppy than PWI is now; sorta like the beginning of PWI. I feel like FW will become the new "main game" for pwe.

    I'm gonna go start fresh with Forsaken World too, because there are certain things I dislike in Perfect World, such as players level <80 are considered low levels, economy failing due to packs and player's greed, the high amount of oracle noobs and other people who just buy their levels and level +90 in just weeks, and that 95% of the ideas that players suggest on the forums won't get noticed by the PW staff. I could go on, but I don't want to seem like a troll to some people who are easily irritable.

    I really hope that Forsaken World will be different from PW, because I really like the story and classes/races and all I've read about it, and I hope it won't turn out like PW in a couple of months.

    Wouldn't surprise me if they did this to ALL their games.

    technically in retrospect with how things have changed so much in PWI in the last 1 year+ and I dont mean postively, ie packs, dq horses in CS, mysterious merchant cheaper, the greed of ppl in PW and the actual devs not listening or giving a damn about the complaints of its player base, one would think that PWI should have been dubbed forsaken world in the first place

    I plan on also playing Forsaken World. From what I've read it sounds pretty cool. Although I don't know what class and race I am going to be yet.

    me was stumbling around the forsaken world website while in a frost run & playing another game.
    me suppose it be some incomplete thingy since after me finished this "game" it just reset on me to the first "level" thingy

    PWI is slowly and unsurely dying and actually has been for over a year now (much more after the TB expansion), but since BoI entered CB and soon to enter OB the updates and such for PWI has slowed down greatly. With 3 other games on the horizon as well it's not surprising PWE seems rather pre-occupied these days. Lately I've stopped playing PWI too in favour of taking part of the CB for BoI. I will do the same for FW and perhaps for HoTK too.

    So far PWI still pwnz BoI, but it's likely that FW would steal a lot of PWI players....
