Year Of The Tiger Pack.Did u get enything?

Have now tryed tiger pack,and 3 times i have gotten nothing. Once 55 pacs and then 30 and now the last time i got(again) only tokens from 55 pacs. Think the drop rate is WAY to lo.. I think when u buy 50+ pacs u should be abel to get something..(Not only Tokens)
PWI GET A GRIP,AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS... In the end you will be the one losing money, bacause ppl dont bother to buy stuff enymore..

    I got tokens. Woohoo. Opened 3 packs I think. Anyways, it's a gamble. Nothing is ever certain. If you opened 50 packs, you should be willing to get 750 tokens. If not, don't gamble.

    It's all random, think of it like the lotto. You win some, you loose some. If everyone got the rare stuff from the packs all the time, it wouldn't be rare and market prices wold be more whack than they are already. When you buy the packs, you know that there is a high chance of getting tokens and a slim chance of getting rares. That's that.

    The chance of getting tokens is 97%.

    From 100 packs you should get 3 non-token items; guess you got unlucky.

    Agree. I should get atleast best token. Thats waht i mean when i say that ppl should get something when thy buy 50+ packs. You can sell Best token for more than 11k... AAnd u wont feel that bad.

    I gambled with the coral packs. And learned from it.
    I'm not going to buy tiger packs and that's it.
    it's random yes it is. one opens 100 packs and gets nothing.
    A friend of mine opens 8 packs and gets blazing tempest.

    Approximately 400 packs yielded the following:

    10 Bests
    1 Soul of Relic
    2 Championship Scrolls
    1 Lunar Ornament
    5 HP Plat charms
    7 MP Plat charms
    Tokens

    I know some who have had much better luck then I have and I do not even consider the above to be lucky.
    My specialty is being right when other people are wrong.

    I don't know but I think that's really tweaked, with the anniversary packs I usually opened 20 and one was something different than token of luck, with coral and tiger I got 50+50 = 1500 tokens....

    Hmm, would say is just random, as I have seen a considerably large number of players,
    on the new tiger mount as soon as it was released.

    While I myself did what I do whenever a new pack come out; buy 3of'em get 15tokens each,
    curse myself for knowing I'll do the same next pack. b:chuckle

    I got 750 Herb Yuanxiaos. Obviously wished for a good item, but I'm not unhappy with that much MP. And I'm not gonna waste any more money on the packs. I've opened ~ 100 packs throughout the last 6 months or so since they've been introduced, and have not received anything other than tokens. **** that.

    When you say the chance of getting tokens is 97%, you've already assumed that the probability distribution for each pack is the same. But the truth is it follows a random probability distribution, so buying more doesn't equate higher chances of getting rare items.

    Unfortunately those packs are all evil. You're better off trying to buy them off from whoever on the face of this planet earth was lucky enough to actually get something other than tokens.

    Now let's not be ungreatful, tokens are nice.

    15 tokens are nice.
    155 tokens are not.

    Actually you are more likely to get rare items with more packs. If I buy 1000 packs I'm sure I will get more rare items than you would buying 10. Each individual pack has the same chance though.

    Yes, more packs = higher chances of getting rare items if you assume that the probability is the same for each pack. But it isn't necessarily true if the prob is randomly distributed. As you see, some bought 100 packs but all are tokens, yet some bought only 10 packs but not all are tokens. If the probability is constant, out of the 100 packs you should get some rare items.

    But we are yet to define "more." You've learnt statistics right? There are infinite possible distributions out there.The 97%, 0.02%... are only a quick estimation. If you want a better estimate, go collect a large pool of data and use them as samples for building probability distribution. In other words, you're trying to build a model to predict the outcome of a pack. Sound easy but not easy to implement, lol
