Read the stickied guide which explains almost all of those questions.

As far as the exp and money question experience can be made by doing countless quests, barbs do take ages to level so get your drink and popcorn ready.

For money there is a myriad of things to do, but typically the way people make money from 1 to 60 is NOT DOING DRAGON QUEST and selling the items at a shop, those will give enough money to get the skills and shop gear you would ever want.

As far as the gear question, you are level 34 yes? If so, quest gear, supply stash gear, and shop gear will suffice... Do not invest very much money in your gear because you will level out of it rather quickly.

As far as your stats go, you're in pretty good shape. Definitely check out the stickied guide and sell all your DQ items. Once you reach level 40, you'll have bounty hunters available, which nets you a good chunk of exp and some chances at decent gear and molds, which generally sell for fair amounts at the higher levels.
Using macros is like drinking...do it responsibly.
Also, did you know clerics can heal themselves? b:puzzled

To the OP, you have skills that are too low / not true. I'd say go grab some DQ items and NPC them and level your skills with extra spirit. Sell whatever you need to sell.

your stats seem boosted from gears, nice. But skills is a must, and you haven't get devour yet? you need that skill to kill much faster. I never had much problems at all on my barb, he's going fine

i have read the stickied guide but not when i first started and i wanted to know if i could ever make a tank barbarian becouse i messed up my skills

i have like 40-30 of almost each dragon quest items for yatzu and i dont know if i should sell them or repeat the dragon quest many times

i dont have any other quests left exept the DQ quest and when i try to kill some mobs i will only get 0.2 exp per monster and it takes so long to kill one becouse of my poor weapon if i remember right i used lots of my exp to level up my fairy when i was lv 33

i am also confused which skills to use i am currently using:penetrate armor->mighty swing-> normal attacks till its dead

should use the true form to kill them?

What Brutu said, but I'll add this:

You will never do large amounts of damage like a BM, so don't think that upgrading your weapon will allow you to 1 or 2 shot most mobs. Until you hit 60 you should use stash weapons. Heck I used my fb19 weapon well into my 40's. (no stash weapon then.)

never do DQ. its a waste of money. By the time youve done enough DQ to trade in dragon orders for the stuff thats really good, you will have either A) outleveled it already, B) could have gained the coin through simply NPC'ing the DQ items to get the same exact (or better) item through a catshop/AH/gold trading -> boutique.

as far as crafting goes, I personally like to do it since its nice to have my name on my stuff - but its not necessary to do if you know someone who has crafting skill, or you can sell your mats in a catshop/AH and use the money you gain from that to buy gear from catshop/AH. If you do decide to do any kind of manufacturing, I recommend concentrating on Tailor first, being a tank you need good gear - and being able to make your own gear means youre a step ahead. Second would be Blacksmith but I wouldn't worry too much about that until your Tailor needs are met. I personally quit doing craftsman skill when i got it to level 3, and my apothecary is still level 1.

lol and here i am posting from my archer rather than my barb.
as an archer i dont do any manufacturing at all. I just buy premade stuff/ 3 star drops with decent stats from the AH.

Or, if you are romantic, could get married, which would give you a new daily quest.

    he's broke lol.

he'd have to put in 30-60 dollars or something like that with RL money to get married right now so he can level to 40 for BH. I can think of better uses for that kind of moneyb:chuckle

    Sell ur DQs!

Do ur Crazy stone quest every day, its cheap at ur lvl.

For now, ur human form with skills is fine, but do lvl up tiger form and skills, as in ur 60ties, ull start tanking for real, and ull need flesh ream maxed etc.

and btw, 0,2% per mob, you lucky ****!b:surrender You lvl up fast even with grinding XD.
and dont lvl up ur genie with XP at ur lvl, its not worth it. (imo)

yeah barbs are defenatly hard to level compared to other classes. armor repair and leveling skills is a pain. Barbs are probally the most expensive class in PWI, Clerics are second most expensive IMO. The rewards are worth it thougth if you keep up with it and don't give up.

I disagree. While barbs have the most obvious costs in the game in the form of "high" repairs, I'm damn sure a clerics mana cost alone outweighs our repairs + mana costs. Whats a bronze MP charm run? 80 silver or something like that? At coin to gold ratio, thats running about 280k coins (if you could buy just the silver, but you have to buy the whole gold) - thats assuming the gold is going for 350k a pop which seems to be about the average nowadays being that it may be 300k low end one day and 400k another. A bronze MP charm will be used in its entirety by a cleric on (eg) 2-2. As a barb I'd still have over half of the bronze HP charm left and an average repair of 60k (depending on the squad's damage dealing ability).

To put it in terms of level 60 potions .. I may use around 100 or so on a TT run. Thats about 120k + 60k = 180k. Cleric cost has me beat by 100k there.

I used to LVL genie with my exp and no regrets, I have to say that ... its odd that I kill faster with my barb than my alts killing and they all have less defenses and HP O_O. My barb almost kill as fast as this BM I use at this LVL. Thanks to genie b:victory. But now I only level genie from BH exp rewards now, to get enough spirit. Its not worth leveling too fast when your skills lag behind. Nothing wrong with being patient.

Well I kill good enough, I don't pounce, I just grab powders and start spamming skills, barbs are easy for me to LVL from grinding alone if I combine correctly. Armor repair all melees have to pay the bill, not just barbs. Leveling skills from a barb is so easy its not even funny, I have too much spirit for my level and have absolutely have nothing to upgrade, not even garrote.
